This is a rewrite of Nightmare Before Valentines, the very first book and fanfiction I published onto Wattpad. I am currently updating all of my stories. I renamed this reboot slightly to Easter and not Valentines mainly because the story mainly takes place in between Halloween Town and Easter Town with the other holiday worlds making appearances as well varying on chapters/scenes. The point of this reboot is to make the story make more sense, fix any plotholes and remove any inconsistencies.
The original is gonna remain on my account for nostalgia reasons so if you want to read that one you may.

+ Judy Skellington: Judy Skellington is the main protagonist of Nightmare Before Easter. Judy is one of the middle children of the largely expanded Skellington family. She loves the holiday and she loves the holiday but overtime she slowly experiences holiday burnout and struggles trying to match up to her father's exceptional expectations. One day she finally breaks down and runs away only to find something new...

+ Ethan Bunny: Ethan Bunny is the deuteragonist of Nightmare Before Easter. Like Judy, he is the next generation of the leader of his own holiday, for him it being Easter with him being prepared as the Easter Bunny. The problem is Ethan is being stressed and expected to be perfect at every opptunity appearance wise, training wise and for him it keeps piling up. Although he does talk to his best friend, Ethan doesn't have anyone to talk to who would know exactly how he feels.

+ Jake Skellington: Jake is one of the older Skellington siblings. Being 15, he shares more sarcastic like personality traits with Judy and his other older sibling, Katie. Jake also when born had the unfortunate side effect of being able to burst into flames and control fire which Jake learns that it is more of a blessing then a curse and could be used to protect the ones he loves.
+ Sara Skellington: Sara is a troublemaker in the family. She's constantly getting into trouble and doing things she probably shouldn't. She has also dazzled in magic as a training witch.
+ Katie Skellington: Katie Skellington is the same age sister of Judy. Although Katie loves her sister, she also feels envious of her wondering why she's the destined pumpkin queen and Katie isn't.

+ Arch Dakon: Dakon is the main antagonist of Nightmare Before Easter. Being the youngest generation of the royal family in Hell, Dakon is far from taking the throne of Hell as his siblings are older and in Lucifer's eyes more suitable. This made Dakon extremely jelous and power hungry and desprate to get into any position of power and change the world said power is in to his liking so he's turn his attention to taking over the seven holidays: Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Independence Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
**ADDRESSING THE PUMPKIN QUEEN: The original version of this book came out long before The Pumpkin Queen was published. Some elements from the book will remain canon such as Dream Town and Sally's backstory but it doesn't focus on Sally's plotline in that book and Dream Town will be the place all the holiday worlds originated.

Twas a long time ago, longer now then it seems in a place that perhaps you have seen in your dreams. For the story you are about to be told took place in the Holiday Worlds of Old. Now you're probably wondering where holidays come from. If you haven't I say its time you begun..
The pumpkin shaped door opens to a black void which slowly reveals a curly hill surrounded by pumpkins, graves and a fence none other then the iconic Spiral Hill and who was standing on top of it? Jack Skellington and his rag doll girlfriend Sally. It has been a year since Jack's entire mid life crisis and Christmas obsession and Sally moved in with him and the two settled down for a new life together while Jack continued his passion and duties as the Pumpkin King with the two meeting back at Spiral Hill for their first anniversary.
"Hey Sally?" Jack said gaining the attention of the red ragdoll.
"Yes Jack?" Sally replied.
"Do you remember when we first met here? When our..relationship started?" Jack asked.
"I remember it like it was yesterday..you know after I repeatedly told you to stop being a idiot and that taking over Christmas was a bad idea." Sally joked, smirking a bit. Jack started to blush in embarrassment.
"Heh..yeah. Sorry about that. I should have listened to you earlier. Anyways..I bring this up because..well its been a year now and I wanted to ask you something for the longest time but didn't want to rush things." Jack said as he pulled out something from his jacket. It was a tiny black and white stripped box and when opened revealed a black wedding ring with a shiny white diamond.
Sally backed up in shock, covering her mouth in joyful tears.
"Sally, will you marry me?" Jack popped the question out. Sally was so filled with joy that she ran and hugged Jack while still crying. "Yes! Yes!! Yes!!!"
Word of mouth quickly spread across the town and everyone cheered and celebrated. The two would get married and shortly after that..
