Judy P.O.V

Life as the princess of Halloween isn't exactly..the easiest lives in the world. Shocking..I know because it seems like I have everything I ever wanted and would want; a amazing community, great friends and a very supportive family. Don't get me wrong, its all great especially my family..but then there's the part of me having to live up to my dad which is..I would say borderline impossible (even without me being a awkward mess but that's a different story).

I don't necessarily blame my Dad for this because of the whole social contract system and all that but quite frankly I would be more excited if I got to the human world with my Dad but apparently "Im not ready yet but will be soon." Like when will I be ready???

AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of this ran through my mind as I got approached by all the townspeople and the press, all great people. Im just at a point of exhaustion from Halloween non-stop.

"JUDY! JUDY! OVER HERE!" All of the reporters shouted as they all swarmed me.

"Okay! Okay! One at a time please! Please give me space!" I requested trying to be as nice as possible.

" How do you feel about being next in line for the Pumpkin Queen after your mother?" Helgamine asked.

"Heh heh..lets not jump to conclusions. I am not in position to take the throne until at least Im 18. My dad..well...just wanted to get me prepared in advanced." I explained.

"Judy, the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch mysteriously started rotting. Is there anything that can explain this as this never happened before?" Gourd asked, concerned.

"Oh dear...uh I have no idea. This is a question to take up with my father because I have no clues." I answered, shrugging.

The major questions and complaints kept flooding in and I felt like I was about to have a panic attack when thankfully The Mayor decided to step in.

"Okay! We ran out of time for questions! Thank you everyone!" Mayor said before ushering me away.

"Thank you.." I quietly said.

"No problem Judy. You looked worried. Is everything okay?" The Mayor asked.

"Hm..yeah..I'm fine..it's just all of this seems super sudden and maybe a little bit to early..I..I gotta go." I said making my way through the crowd and into the house slamming it beside, stressed and trying to catch my breath.

"Oh look whose back already?" Jake sneered.

"How did it go?" Mom asked.

"Okay a few things..one tell all of them I'm claustrophobic because I felt like I was on panic mode the entire time!! Second, are you aware that the pumpkin patch is like ROTTING!!!?" I shouted.

"Oh dear! Um..maybe this is something you should take up with your father." Mom suggested.

"Yeah no kidding." I mumbled.

"What's with the yelling??" Dad asked as he entered the room.

"The pumpkins are rotting, some ghosts are disappearing, Lock, Shock and Barrel haven't been seen anywhere which is a red flag they are up to trouble, and all of that was thrown at me like I'm not ready to handle these responsibilities!!"  I vented before collapsing on the couch.

"And you people said this is our future queen..we're so doomed." Sara mumbled. "Some times I feel like I been adopted because she doesn't know what she's doing half the time."

"Wow. How Charming." I mumbled.

Mom and Dad just glared at Sara.

"Sara that is a very hurtful statement." Dad commented. "Maybe have a little faith in your sister?"
