Teaser #2 - Closer

Sunoo's eyes pop open when he feels a sudden coldness. He turns his head and sees Sunghoon stretching. 

"Oh...did I wake you?" he asks, his voice deeper with the sleepiness. Sunoo swallows and shakes his head. 

"What time is it?" he asks. 

"Six."

"Why are you getting up now?"

"I need...to exercise." Sunghoon laughs quietly, his eyes closing a little bit as he smiles, "Do you want to join me?"

"Absolutely not. You can suffer alone." Sunoo scoffs, turning his back towards him again. 

Sunghoon leans down over him and places a gentle kiss to his cheek before heading towards the door. 

"Sleep well." He whispers. 

"You're gross." Jungwon mumbles. 

"Oh...did I-"

"Yes, you woke me up." Jungwon cuts him off. Sunghoon smirks and closes the door. 

"Riki?" Jungwon whispers. The boy doesn't respond. Jungwon and Sunoo exchange glances and look over at his bed. He wasn't there. Jungwon sits up quickly, looking over at Jake before calming down. 

Jake had his arms wrapped around Ni-ki's waist, both of them were breathing softly. Completely unaware of the short conversation. 

Jungwon sighs and lies back down with a small smile. 

"He's fine...go back to sleep." Sunoo whispers. Jungwon nods and faces the wall again. 

Yeah. 

He's fine.

Heeseung smiles down at his phone, looking through the pictures he and Jake took together on one of their days out. 

"What are you smiling for?" Jay asks. 

"I'm happy."

Jay smirks and closes his eyes, rubbing his forehead. He wasn't complaining. He was glad someone was happy. 

Glad Heeseung was happy. 

The break was really helping them. They had time to sleep, they had time to think. 

They had time to do things they wanted to do. 

The two boys look up when Jungwon enters their bedroom. 

"Wonie..." Jay calls, reaching his hand towards him. Jungwon smiles and rubs his eyes as he walks over to Jay, allowing him to pull him down on the bed. 

"Did you just wake up?" Jay asks. Jungwon nods and closes his eyes as Jay runs his fingers through his hair, gently massaging his scalp. 

"You sleep more than me now." Jay jokes. 

"You and Ni-ki both." Heeseung says. Jungwon shrugs, avoiding Heeseung's gaze. 

They hadn't spoke much since he showed him the message. That was almost two weeks ago. It was almost a silent rule...they wouldn't speak about it around the other members. 

And the other members were always around. Therefore...they just hadn't spoken about it. 

Maybe it was better that way. 

If they didn't talk about it....

....maybe that made it a little less real. 

A little less threatening. 

It was wishful thinking.
