Chapter Seven: A Lie (Pt. 1)

A/N: This chapter was a bit long so I split into 2 parts, but they'll be published together.

"Who crapped in your cereal?" Jake asks, plopping down on the couch beside Sunghoon. Sunghoon sighs and shakes his head. Jake sips on his tea before placing it on the table beside him.

"I thought you were asleep?" Sunghoon asks. Jake had said something about going to sleep when they had entered the dorm earlier. Jake shakes his head.

"I tried to sleep with Ni-ki... but he rejected me. Instead, I just watched and waited for him to go to sleep before coming back in here. I probably shouldn't go to sleep early anyway, or I'll be up in the middle of the night." Jake says with a small laugh.

"Yeah, Ni-ki definitely doesn't have that problem. He would probably hibernate if he had the time." Sunghoon smirks. Jake scoffs and leans back against the couch, watching the muted TV.

"So... why are you sitting in here looking half dead instead of snuggling up with your boyfriend?" Jake asks.

"I...we just need some space, I think." Sunghoon says.

"Okay well can you stop digging your nails into your legs... I can literally see blood soaking through your pants." Jake says, sitting back up to get a closer look. Sunghoon is startled as well as he looks down at his light grey sweatpants...where there is indeed a forming dark spot where his fingers had been busy.

"Shit." Sunghoon hisses, standing up to go to the bathroom. Jake grabs another pair of pants from the closet in the hallway and then opens the bathroom door. Sunghoon yelps in surprise and quickly pulls his pants back up, staring at Jake with wide eyes. Jake shakes his head and smirks, tossing the pants at him.

"Hoon, chill. We're both dudes." Jake says, crossing his arms after closing the bathroom door.

"Yeah... and I have a boyfriend, so that comment is irrelevant in my case."

"I'm straight."

"Still telling yourself that?" Sunghoon asks, tilting his head a little bit. Jake's cheeks get red but he nods.

"It's...t-true." Jake stutters. Sunghoon raises his eyebrows and nods.

"Anyway... pull your pants down so I can see the damage." Jake says quickly, changing the subject.
