A/N: Chapter includes foul language + alcohol consumption

Heeseung takes another sip of the alcohol and then covers his burning face with his hands.

"I said that?" Heeseung asks. Jake nods, not sure where to look. He only knew he didn't want to look at Heeseung.

"No wonder you've been so awkward around me." Heeseung scoffs, shaking his head and rubbing his forehead.

"Fuck." He curses.

"It's fine, Hee. You were drunk, you didn't mean it." Jake says softly. Heeseung shakes his head and sets the bottle down, turning his whole body to face the younger.

"No, I did mean it. I'm upset that you found out the way you did." Heeseung clarifies.

"You...what?"

"I really...did fall for you." Heeseung admits, his cheeks getting warmer. Jake meets his eye now, anxiety filling him.

"No you didn't." Jake hisses. Heeseung's eyes widened at his response.

"You don't love me, Heeseung."

"I love you, Sim Jaeyun. Don't tell me I don't. I know exactly how I feel." Heeseung snaps back.

"Well don't." Jake says, looking away.

"Why can't I?" Heeseung asks softly. Jake stands and starts walking towards the door but Heeseung stops him, grabbing his hands.

"Why not?" Heeseung asks again.

"Why would you?" Jake asks, "When you would be happier with someone else?"

"I chose you. I can't be happy with anyone else. My heart wants you." Heeseung says with a small smile.

"I can't...I can't give you what you want. I can't return your feelings." Jake says. Heeseung swallows and squeezes Jake's hands.

"W-why?"

"I don't know. I just...can't. I...don't know how to love someone. I've never loved someone...I have no desire to." Jake explains, looking down at Heeseung, hating the way his eyes sparkled as the moon reflected in his wet eyes.

"I don't care." He says softly.

"I don't care if you can't love me...but at least let me love you. Please?" he asks. Jake shakes his head.
