He felt his bare feet on the carpeted floor. The shag carpet floor felt soft between his toes. He ran his fingers through his curly hair. He was very sleepy after getting terrible sleep last night. But that was nothing new. He looked in his bedroom mirror. He blinked and looked at his vibrant green eyes. His eyes held something that no one else's did. He saw beauty in everything. Literally. Everything he saw was like something an artist painted. He saw colors that weren't visible to normal humans. He saw beautiful things.
He knew about the world. He knew it was chaotic. He knew about the evil. He just couldn't comprehend it.
He knew he saw everything differently. He didn't say anything. He couldn't saw anything. For you see, the boy was mute. He knew sign language. He just didn't know how to describe his vision. Everyone would call him crazy. No one would take him seriously. God knows, everyone couldn't understand him.
The boy got ready for the day. It was summer vacation so he did what he normally would do. He sat in his driveway and watched the day go by. He just watched the colors change and the beautiful people pass by. He got many friendly waves from strangers and people he knew. He waved back with a smile. He was waiting for a certain someone to pass by. He looked at the time on his phone. 11:56. She would be passing by shorty.
