Throughout the tattoo, jisung could honestly say, it felt exactly like what he had imagined, it was a little itchy and occasionally felt like it would pinch or burn but it never really HURT, he honestly kinda liked it.

"How are we feeling so far sung?" Changbin asked.

"Pretty good, it doesn't hurt, it's honestly kinda nice," jisung said and Changbin smiled.

"Well I guess that's a good thing, just don't go crazy and get a bunch of stupid tattoos, maybe just a few stupid tattoos, but if you want to get more pretty ones like this one, I'm your guy, anyway, I actually have something to ask you," Changbin spoke quietly, as though he was afraid of someone overhearing.

"Yeah? You can ask me anything, what is it?" Jisung tried not to move even though he wanted to turn to try and get a read on changbin's face.

"I want to propose to Felix, but I don't know how, I know he'll say yes no matter what but I really want it to be perfect, any suggestions?" He whispered.

"OH MY GOD!! That's so exciting binnie! Felix will be so happy! Of course I can help... hmmm, let me think, well Felix really loves to dance, so maybe you could learn how to do like a classic Waltz or something, I can help teach you and I'm sure Hyunjin will too, and then you can set up like a picnic or something for him and then ask him to dance and after you dance you can get down on one knee and pop the question," jisung thought aloud.

"That... actually sounds perfect... hmm, I don't know I wasn't really expecting the answer to be from you," Changbin said.

"HEY! I literally do love as my profession, sure I'm just making flower arrangements but hey you gotta understand the nuances of romance to be able to make that perfect bouquet," jisung smiled.

"You're right, you're right, mr romantic over here," Changbin teased.

"Damn straight I am," jisung said as the little bell to the tattoo shop door jingled.

"I'm sorry, we're booked for the day! You'll have to book online or come back tomorrow," Changbin shouted into the lobby.

"It's just me bin," Minho said as he moved into the doorway, cutting himself off when he saw it was jisung who was getting tattooed.

"I- oh it's you, I didn't realize you had any tattoos," he said.

"I don't, this is my first," jisung smiled proudly.

"Really? And you're just... taking a back tat like that? No problem?" Minho asked.

"Yeah, it doesn't hurt really," jisung shrugged and Minho seemed surprised.

"Well, I'll get out of your hair, the tattoo looks good jisung," Minho said as he turned to leave and the bell to the tattoo shop jingled again as the door slammed after him.

"Yeah that was awkward," Changbin said, finally cutting through the silence that has been growing in the space.

"...yeah, it was," jisung bit out, his mood had been a little killed and so he withdrew inside his mind as Changbin finished up the line work of the tattoo.

"Do you want some water? You've been sitting on this table for a while," Changbin said.

"Yeah water's good, what time is it anyway?" Jisung asked.

"Almost midnight, we've been working for a while, we can finish up in the morning though," Changbin offered and jisung nodded, only now fighting a yawn now that he realized how late it was.

Changbin handed jisung a water and he drank it thankfully, maybe getting a spur of the moment all day tattoo was not his wisest decision ever but he didn't mind, if this was the push he needed to finally get the tattoo he'd been wanting then so be it.

Changbin gave him some instructions for the overnight stuff and then told him to come back in the morning to finish things up.

Jisung was honestly grateful for the distraction but he realized he hadn't told Felix about the kiss yet, and his best friend would feel so betrayed if he kept that to himself so as soon as he got home he started making dinner and called Felix.

"Hey bestie, what's up?" Felix answered.

"Hey, I just got home, sorry if you were asleep," jisung said.

"No I wasn't, binnie hasn't come home yet, I was waiting up for him," Felix replied, yawning in the middle.

"Oh sorry, I held him up at the shop, I decided today was a good day for my first tattoo," jisung chuckled.

"What?!? You just got a tattoo? No plans or anything just balls to the wall did it?" Felix asked.

"Sorta, we had already talked about maybe doing it soon but we didn't have a day and then after Minho kissed me at the New Year's party I was done and needed a distraction so we started it, I'm going back in so he can finish it in the morning," jisung explained.

"WAIT! STOP! MINHO KISSED YOU AND YOU DIDN'T THINK TO MENTION THAT PART FIRST?!?!" Felix shouted.

"I'm sorry, that was sort of the reason I called you, I just got side tracked," Jisung apologized.

"It's okay now tell me every detail," Felix begged, and so, jisung did.

He shared everything from offering the job to seungmin to watching chan and jeongin to Minho pulling him in and him bringing Minho back home and staying the night.

Felix was practically buzzing all the way up until the end when jisung mentioned telling Minho they shouldn't be friends anymore.

"What?!? You made so much progress in one night just to drop it all!?!?" Felix picked up his shouting again.

"I know but it's progress he doesn't really want, he doesn't want to have a soulmate and I don't want to force him into a relationship with me just because he falls victim to the mate bond, it's not what he wants," jisung sighed.

"You're talking about him like he's dead and you're deciding to give away his organs, people's opinions and decisions can change, it's not fair to you or to Minho for you to step away as he tries to step closer all because of something he said to you when you first met," Felix said and as much as jisung thought it made sense, his mind was made up, nothing was happening between him and Minho.
