Over the next few weeks, jisung and yeosang went out several times, usually to dinner but they also saw a movie at one point and had a few nights in.
Jisung was glad things were going well and yeosang had even asked him to be his boyfriend so they were official now.
Chan and Changbin had called him a few times and he had dropped into the studio to help them on a song after work one day.
One thing that was strange though, was that in two weeks he hadn't bumped into Minho even once.
He couldn't help but he worried, he knew it wasn't his place to but he wanted to know what was up with Minho.
After work that day he went to the tattoo parlor and asked Changbin where Minho had been.
"Oh I don't actually know..." Changbin said, "I've just been running the shop, he texted saying he wouldn't be coming in but I haven't heard from him since."
"Could I maybe check on him? I know it's not my place to be worried but I've kinda gotten used to bumping into him," jisung said and Changbin bit his lip.
"He's going to hate me for this but I'm worried too and I can't go myself because Felix is sick right now, I need to get home to him, here's Minho's address," Changbin sighed typing the address into Jisung's phone.
Jisung thanked him and left the parlor, zoning in on following his gps.
When he arrived at Minho's house, it was in a nice neighborhood and the house itself was also quite nice.
He knocked on the door before ringing the doorbell, but there was no reply.
He knocked again and heard movement inside but still the door didn't answer. This worried him, did Minho get hurt and no one had checked on him so he's just been trapped there? Was he... dead? What had happened?
He twisted the door handle and it just opened, the house was unlocked.
Immediately he saw what the noise he had heard before had come from, three cats came over and sniffed at him and pushed against his leg, bringing him over to their food and water bowls, that appeared to be empty, the bowls looked like they were supposed to refill themselves but the tank with the refill food was empty, meaning chances were that no one had been taking care of them.
He took a minute to find their food but he refilled their food and water bowls and they happily started to eat.
He also found where their litter boxes were and changed them out, then he realized he had gotten side tracked and he was here to find Minho.
He peaked into some rooms before opening a room that was dark and honestly seemed dirty and unkempt, but in one of the shadowy corners, he could see Minho, balled up, shaking slightly with quiet whimpers, there was what appeared to be a smashed photo next to him, with glass strewn around the room.
"Minho," jisung called softly and his head shot up, his eyes were bloodshot and he looked paler than usual, and maybe skinnier too.
Jisung let the door shut behind him as he approached and kneeled down next to Minho.
He reached out a hand but Minho shrunk back.
"Don't touch me!" He bit.
"Okay I won't, I'm sorry Minho, I'm just worried about you, I'm not here to ask questions, I'm just here to make sure you're okay," jisung said.
"Leave!" Minho shouted again.
"No I won't Minho, I already took care of your cats but it was clear no one had paid attention to them for the two weeks you've been gone, so I'm going to guess you haven't been taking care of yourself either, so either you let me help you or I take your cats and call Changbin to come get you," jisung said and Minho's eyes widened.
"My cats..." He muttered.
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck I'm such a bad person I didn't even think about them fuck," Minho swore.
"No Minho stop it, you're not a bad person something is clearly wrong and don't worry about your cats, I took care of them before I came in here so they are fine and right now they should be the least of your worries," jisung assured.
"I...I...I don't know what to do," Minho said and jisung was sure of one thing, Minho was sleep deprived and hungry and confused.
"That's alright Min, I'll make you some food and you can shower and I'll clean up around here, you don't have to tell me what happened if you don't want to, but if you need to talk, I can listen, but then you sleep, I'm sure Changbin won't mind you taking a few more days off work but I'm making sure you sleep and eat," jisung said and Minho just nodded.
Jisung reached out a hand and this time Minho took it, letting himself be pulled off of the ground.
Jisung pushed him towards the bathroom and told him to leave the door unlocked, he couldn't help but be worried something would happen.
While Minho showered, he tidied up the room, started doing Minho's laundry and suddenly the room didn't seem so sad, you could definitely feel some of the stuffiness from Minho's weeks of isolation, but it seemed better already.
Jisung put fresh sheets on the bed and put the old ones in the laundry room to be washed next as he went to the kitchen to start making Minho something to eat that would hopefully be easy on his stomach because god knows when the last time he ate was and jisung didn't want to make him worse by making him sick.
When Minho trudged out of his room, his cats darted over to him and he crouched down to pet them.
He sat at his barstool and jisung placed a bowl in front of him.
"You should be able to eat this, at least most of it, please do that, and drink some water," jisung said as he set the glass down next to him as well.
"So Minho," jisung was standing right next to him at the point, leaning against the counter but facing Minho's side.
"Do you want to talk about it, tell me what's wrong? You don't have to," jisung offered, and he knew what he was expecting, a firm no.
He wasn't expecting Minho to turn, look him in the eye and break down sobbing, falling into Jisung's chest.
