(Kaori's POV)
"My name is Kayano Kaori. I was born on June 1st to an ordinary couple living in the Shizuoka Prefecture. My father was the CEO of an electrical company, while my mother was a leading member of a highly classified research facility."
"I wouldn't say my life was perfect. What I will say is that I was incredibly privileged and fortunate. We lived in a good house, always had enough money, and even if my parents had very busy jobs, they always found time for me. They always ensured I was happy and kept track of how many times I would smile and laugh during a day. Life was going on great...until I lost everything. Two months before my 10th birthday, I lost my parents and everything I own in a fire. What I got in return was a burned arm and an incredible fear of fire."
"However, I also received the memories of a past life, I life where I had knowledge about the future of my new world. And I would use this information to keep those I love safe."

"BEEP BEEP BEEP!"
"BEEP BEEP BEEP!"
Instinctively, I let out a groan after hearing the alarm. Then I remembered what day it was. "Oh shit." I jumped out of bed. Today was the day I had been waiting for the past 3 years. I quickly got myself into my uniform and made my way to the bathroom. I stared at myself in the mirror. As the year passed, I realized that I was growing up looking the exact same as I did in my previous life. The only difference was the silver hair and violet eyes. After I made sure I was presentable, I walked down the stairs. I heard the sound of Aizawa in the kitchen preparing breakfast. "How do I look, Oji-san?"
He turned his head from the stove and stared at me. "You look good in the Aldera High uniform." I smiled. "Though I don't understand why you choose to go to that school." When Aizawa had taken me in, my schooling was taught to me from ages 10 to 13 by tutors. When both he and I were free, he would take me to UA, where he would train me.
And he wasn't lying when he said he wouldn't go easy on me. I still remember the bruises from falling. But the price was worth it, as not only do I no longer feel queasy with extreme heights since I can use my quirk to catch myself, I'm pretty sure I gave Aizawa a few heart attacks as well.
Two years into our living together, I told him about the school I wanted to go to for Junior High. At first, he didn't understand why I wanted to go since I had the money to go to other higher-ranking schools. All I told him was that I wanted to be normal. Now, dressed in the black Aldera High uniform with a matching black glove on my right arm, I was ready to start meeting the cast... well, two of them, at least.
"And you're sure you don't want me to drive you?" Aizawa asked. "I'm sure," I say with a smile, walking over to help Aizawa with cooking. Most of the time, I was the one who made breakfast. Not because Aizawa made me but because he couldn't stop me. I still remember the first time I tried cooking in the kitchen. It was two weeks after I moved in, and I had decided to start helping around the house. And besides, I had gotten tired of secretly cleaning. When Aizawa found out, however, he was adamant about waking up as early as I did to supervise. "Besides, you won't be able to take me all the time. So I'm gonna have to walk on my own at some point."
