He scanned that one girl sitting prim and proper in front of his eyes, thinking of another attempt to hit on her. She was very interesting, and after she beat him in a match, he has gotten more interested in her compared to the other girls he met.

Unfortunately, whenever he approaches the female, she will frankly turn him down or either ignore him as if he was nothing but a stranger.

She was there, just a few steps away from him. Reading a book with her deep and gorgeous eyes while her legs were crossed.

He used to believe that she was a bashful person, but actually, the more he tries to interact with her, he realizes, perhaps she really hated flirts or him exactly.

"Y/n-chan! Found you~! You also look cute today."

He waved at her, yet it was still the usual response, oh wait, she didn't even bother to respond anymore and continued reading the book placed on her lap instead.

"I mean~ you're cute every day, anyways, what are you reading?"

He sat beside her, making her move a bit to the other side, and let out a small grumble. He noticed it so he moved a little closer and she moved again to the other side, avoiding him, resulting in the latter's dismay. He averted his attention toward her shiny hair. The nice scent of it was blooming and he can even smell it even though she is quite far from him.

"What shampoo do you use Y/n-chan?"

She was hesitating whether she'll answer him or not, but since it was Sengoku, the one who she considered as the ultimate flirt, will keep nagging her until she answer at least one of his in the coming nonsense interviews.

"So what if I told you?"

"Hmm~ I don't know, I'll be happy because you finally answered me."

"Hm, why don't you just flirt with other girls?"

"You sound so jealous Y/n-chan! Lucky~!"

"No, I am not. I'm not jealous with no one, or anyone you encounter with. I just suggested that since you keep bugging me. Seriously, now I wonder...is there something about me that caught your interest? Because I don't care about you at all."

She closed her book, ending the chapter she read. She then stood up and dusted her skirt.

"If only, you're willing to look at only one person, you might have a chance."

He was speechless, how could she say that to his face full of confidence? He chuckled in amusement and scratched his hair.

"Unlucky~"

Finally, the school bell rang and everyone is allowed to go home and take a rest. Sengoku spotted her, playing the racket all alone. There's more time before the club activities.

He found himself walking towards her again, how extraordinary. She's like a magnet that keeps attracting him. Her eyes are glued to the tennis ball that keeps bouncing.

'She's probably bored.'

"Hey! Y/n-chan!"

"What do you need? Do you have any business with me?"

Her typical bland tone was used by him again. How much does she hate Sengoku? Unknown. Sometimes, she'll be kind but only on rare times, he must be very, very, very lucky that time. If it will be based on Inui's data, the probability of it will be absolutely 1% only.

"Your cute captain isn't here yet?"

"What do you think?" she retorted sarcastically.

"Now, now, now~ don't be jealous, let's warm up a bit eh?"
