"Melina get down here please." Oh shit. What did I do? What caused me to be put in this horrible, terrifying, life threatening situation?
"Uh Okay." I try not face plant walking down the stairs as I clear my whole phone for anything that could get me in trouble. Oh my god my heart is racing. I hop down the last step trying to pretend like I'm not shitting my pants right now.
I walk into the living room and see Olivia sitting next to my mom. What have I done? I swallow my nerves and sit next Olivia. She looks at me hella confused. I let out a sigh of relief, oh thank god. I don't dare to make eye contact with my mother.
She puts her hands on our knees. "Girls this going to be very hard, but we have to move." My heart drops. What?! No no no this is a sick sick joke.
"What? Why? Please tell me this is a joke mom!" I stand up starting to really panic. I look back at her and she just shakes her head. No. My life was finally getting decent here. I hear her tell Olivia to comfort me. The fuck is she gonna do?
"Hey listen it's gonna be fine. Oh! You get to hang out with all those influencers you text." Oh I guess she's right. I let out a breath of relief. Yea okay, this isn't gonna be so bad, right?

Todays the day. The day i leave New york in the past. I really don't know how to feel. I'm sad but i'm also excited for my future. Los angeles is the perfect spot to expand my career even more.
I say my final goodbyes to the house. This isn't my childhood home or anything just holds good family memories.
"Melina it's time to go." Oh. Wow okay. It's happening. My mom puts her arm around my shoulder. It feels like one of those corny hallmark movies. It also feels so fake like it's such a change i haven't processed it.
