My long day is almost done, and I'm looking forward to Friday night. We've planned our own little gathering ( just the 6 of us ), and Pansy and Blaise are heading to the store on Friday afternoon to sneak some alcohol.
I've never gotten drunk before, so this is new to me... Isabella assures me that I will enjoy it.

But, to be honest, I'm kinda shitting it.

I'm nearing the end of my potion lesson; herbology is up next; it's one of my favourite subjects; I adore studying plants and find it quite fascinating.

thursday 18th september 3:30pm

"What are you wearing on Friday, Isabella?" I ask.

"Probably my black dress,why?" She inquires.

"Never been to one of these party things... not really sure on what we have to wear" I admit with a concerned look on my face.

"Let me help you!" Isabella says with a smile whilst walking towards my drawer.

Isabella and I spent around 20 minutes combing through my drawers for something to wear tomorrow. We want to find something pretty but not too fancy; we'll be staying in our dorm, so there's no need to dress up.

We decided on a white mini skirt and a cream halter neck ruffle crop top. I feel way too exposed with my boobs emerging from my top, but Isabella insists it's perfect for this occasion.

I adore how close Isabella and I have grown; she's much more relaxed with me around other people. Last month, she wouldn't even let me wear anything slightly revealing ~ worried about attracting the wrong type of attention (that she knows I don't like ).

Now she's helping me get myself out there, it's sweet but this is terrifying.

I've never really been one to try get a boys attention. I've always kept myself quiet, for they always wanted Isabella anyways... But Isabella tells me i'm beautiful and I could pull anyone I want. I know she's bluffing but it's nice to hear that. I just don't know if i'm confident enough to do that just yet, but I guess this outfit is a start.

We spent the rest of the evening talking about Cedric; Isabella adores him and thinks he's "perfect," always complementing her and buying her flowers. She reckons he'll ask her to be his girlfriend soon, I really hope he does because she is so happy with him and she deserves it! I'm just not sure how she'll tell our parents but at the very least, he's pure blood... that might help.

Friday 19th september 5:10pm

Isabella, Pansy, and I are getting ready together again. In all honesty, I think this is my fave part of going out.

Girlhood...I adore it!

This time, I simply just straightened my hair, saving the more extravagant looks for special occasions.
I applied my usual makeup, but this time I added highlighter and lipgloss to make it a little more interesting.
Finally, I dressed in the outfit that Isabella and I decided on together, complementing it with small gold hoops and a matching gold necklace.

The nerves are finally kicking in.

But I take a moment to admire the two other girls around me.
I'm really happy to have such lovely friends.
Before heading to the boys' room, Isabella and Pansy give me a pep talk about taking it slow with the beverages we got.
