The cops came and took Verone away.
Brian, Monica, and Roman were getting checked out by the paramedics while I was using Bilkins phone to talk to Salvatore.

"Yes, Salvatore, I will be there by tomorrow afternoon." After I said that, I hung up the phone and handed it back to Bilkins. I walked over to Brian and Rome, and Brian got up and stood next to me. Brian and Rome looked over at Verone, who was getting stitched up by the paramedics, Rome yelled, "Don't drop the soap, big hommie." we all laughed at that. "I hope you know that when he gets out he's gonna kill your ass" "he ain't getting out." Rome said in response. Just then Verone got up and said, "I'll see you soon." Rome stopped smiling almost instantly and said, "You think he gonna get out?" "He'll be out" Brian said, then walked away. "No, for real, you think he is getting out?" "Rome don't listen to him. The feds have enough to keep him in there for a while." "That doesn't help me, Selena." "Oh?" I said laughing and following behind Brian.

We met up with Monica and Bilkins, "We took care of your decoys. They're free and clear. There's a sedan out on the road for you. Try to bring it back in one piece." We all laughed at that. Brian said, "Thanks a lot, Bilkins. Thanks for looking out, man." Monica looked at Rome and said, "Do you trust me now?" "You alright." She shook his hand that was hurt and then said sorry when she heard him grunt in pain. "Nice working with you, O'Conner." "Same here." "Selena, you know I'm gonna miss you." "Me too M" I hugged her then her and Bilkins walked away. "I might have to stay out here in Miami, and keep you out of trouble, bruh." Said Rome. "Yeah, I wish I could stay with you guys but I got to get going. Come on Bilkins only loaned us one car and I need to get to mine at Tej's garage, so if we could get going please." They laughed and we started walking towards the car.

"You're going to kick it in Miami bro?" "Oh man, I love Miami. Miami is off the hook!" They did their fist bump thing. "Open a garage together." "A garage? How are we going to do that?" We stopped walking and I looked at Brian in confusion. "Pockets ain't empty, cuz" Rome laughed then looked around before lifting up his shirt, "And we ain't hungry no more either bruh." "Yeah no shit guys, I left something for y'all in Tej's garage. Thank me later. Now let's go" we all laughed and hopped in the car, speeding off to Tej's garage.

When we got there I saw my car parked outside. "Yo guys, thanks for these couple of days man, made this undercover shit way more fun."
"No problem, girl," Rome said, and doing a hand shake we just made up. I got out of the car and walked over to my car. "Selena, wait up!" I turned and saw Brian jogging over to me. "What's up?" "I just wanted to say thank you again." "Brian, it was nothing. I was just doing my job." I laughed, "No it was more than just doing your job.You had your shot at Verone. You took it, but you still saved my life." I looked him in the eyes and smiled. There's the Brian I fell in love with months ago before he turned out to be a cop. I kissed his cheek and said, "See you later, O'Conner." I got in my car, started it, and sped off. I looked back in the mirror to see him smiling at me.
