Kyle grew up in New Jersey and not South Park! That's a very important thing to remember.
COVID turned everyone who caught it into zombies. Kyle has his kids (Jake is 6, Anna is 5 at the time of the prologue) with him, his wife Julie having been infected. It's just them against the world. They hop from different towns frequently and are never in the same place for long. It's a tough life to maneuver, considering Kyle is a Jersey boy who hasn't ever had to survive in the wild like this.
Stan and Kenny live together, almost like Bill and Frank from TLOU except they aren't dating or married. This can be read as Stylenny if you choose to though! Stan is Kenny's protector, getting him items and keeping their compound safe from zombies and raiders. Kenny is developing a vaccine/cure.
I'm definitely gonna add more characters, but I'm not exactly sure where yet. Craig and Tweek will definitely make an appearance at some point!
