You pull up outside of Hawkins High and sigh a deep breath, trying to get the energy and motivation for the tough day ahead of you.
You gather all of your things and sling your backpack over your shoulder, walking inside the school entrance. The second you do you lock eyes with your charming, bit of an asshole, amazing boyfriend, Jason. He smiles tapping his team mates chest before making his way over to you.
"Well hello there gorgeous.." he smirks wrapping his arms around you
"Hey baby" you smile at him snuggling into him
"You coming tonight to cheer me on?" He asks pulling away
"Tonight?" You question completely drawing a mind blank
"The championship game babe...come on you must be kidding me, don't tell me you forgot?" He sighs
"I'm sorry Jason...a lot is going on right now" you sigh
He nods pulling you close to him once again
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asks
You open your mouth to say something, as the school bell rang.
"I gotta get to class..." you say not looking at him
"Okay...I love you" he says putting a finger underneath your chin to make you look at him
"Okay..." you nod and walk off

You walk into the cafeteria and Jason waves you over to the basketball teams table. You sigh, shutting your eyes for a second, before making your way over to the table, taking your rightful spot next to your boyfriend.
"You okay?" He asks squeezing your thigh gently under the table
You just nod as somebody starts yelling across the cafeteria, you look up to see a hot metal head with long brown curly hair walking down the centre of a table
"Or a game where you throw balls into laundry baskets.." he calls out as he looks dead into your eyes
You bite your lip as your boyfriend looks at you then him, pushing his chair back
"You want something freak?!" He yells back his fists clenched to the point where they turned white
The metal head put his hands up through his hair to make devil horns and made a cute demonic noise. You got up quickly and grab his arm.
"Jason don't..." you say quietly
"Don't bitch..." he says pushing you back then hitting you in the face
You whimper and hold your jaw, tears start to well up in your eyes.
This is ENOUGH you think to yourself
"Baby I..." he says trying to reach out to you
"Don't...we are DONE..." you cry running off
The metal head sees and frowns, following you.
You are standing near your locker as you feel someone touch your shoulder, making you jump.
"Hey hey hey...didn't mean to scare you..." he looks at the blood pouring out of your nose and the blood on your bottom lip "you okay?"
"Um...ye-yeah" you stutter
He starts patting his pockets and finally finds a bandana that he had in his back pocket.
"Here.." he hands it to you with a slight smile
You go to grab it but wince, he sighs and then starts dabbing at your lip gently, smiling at you.
Little did you know Jason was watching you two.
"Meet me in the woods at lunch?" He smiles tucking hair behind your ear as the last of the blood was wiped from your lip
You nod

You walk into the woods at lunch time, following the directions the metal head had told you. You finally get to the picnic table and see him sitting there.
"Hey um..." you say making him jump
"Oh hey y/n...uh Eddie...Eddie Munson.." he nods smiling
You smile back at him and sit across from him
"So what did you want to say?" You ask curiously
"Um I just wanted to ask if you were okay after...you know?" He asks looking at your lip
"Oh uh yeah...yeah I am...I spoke to Jason and uh yeah he said he was going to stop abusing me so that would be nice..." you nod not making eye contact with him
"Y/n.." he sighs
"Hm?" You look up at Eddie
"Come on...you know better than that..." he sighs again
"Do I?" You scoff
"Y/n/n...you know for a fact that the devil doesn't bargain...he's just going to get Jason to cheat or hit you again and then that will break your heart all over again...y/n/n believe me when I tell you that he is NEVER going to change..." Eddie sighs sitting across from you again
He looks at you sadly, seeing the tears in your eyes as they slowly fall down your face.
"I just...I want to be happy Eddie.." you sniff
"And you will be...just not with him..." he says gently grabbing your hand
You look up at him and smile
"Oh yeah...who with then?" You say quirking an eyebrow at him
"I don't know why you would...I'm the freak of Hawkins as well as Hawkins High...but I want to show you how a gentleman should treat a princess like you..." he smiles shyly rubbing his thumb over your hand
"I would love that..." you say looking back over at him
"Yeah?" He beams at you
"Yeah!" You smile back
