TW// So sorry guys but this is going to be a sad one!

The dark purple clouds flew over the top of you as you and the group walked through the upside down.
You gripped onto your boyfriend, Eddie's, arm trying to calm yourself down. He notices and stops walking, holding your face between his hands.
"Princess?" He says
"Hm?" You hum looking at him tears welling up in your eyes
"What's wrong??" He asks
"Nothing Eds...I'm fine..." you nod trying to mask how much you hated the idea of him being on top of the trailer alone
"Talk now.." he huffs
"Just this isn't safe...what if you get hurt...or worse..." you mumble
"Hey hey hey sweetheart...everything is going to be okay...nothing bad is going to happen to me or you.." he nods trying to reassure you
You nod back, crashing your lips into his. You both made out for a little bit, until thunder boomed making you jump.
Eddie runs over to Steve
"Steve man...I think y/n should go back..." he says
Steve nods as you walk over, hearing what Eddie said
"I'm fine...let's just kill this Vecna creep.." you spit at them walking off

It was cold and damp in Vecna's mansion, not to mention giant spider webs clung to the towering beams that shot upwards towards the roof. You shivered as you felt a hand slip into yours, looking to see your best friend, Steve, the hair, Harrington beaming at you.
"Pumpkin if you d.." he started to say
"Don't Steve..." you scoff
"Don't what?" He asks confused
"Treat me like a fucking child...I'm fine.." you spat at him rolling your eyes
"Eddie and the rest of us are just worried about you that's all..." he sighs
"Yeah right..." you laughed sarcastically "let's just go and kill this thing so I can get back to Munson.."
You walked off up the stairs
"Nice work Harrington..." Robin laughed following you up the stairs
"Don't worry Steve...she's just worried about Eddie.." Nancy sighed
"Yeah I know.." he nods

**minutes later**

You quickly run out of Vecna's spooky mansion, just as it blew up.
You pant slightly, before remembering that your boyfriend was waiting for you near the gate.
You started running again, as the other three were on your tail
"Y/N!! WAIT UP!!" Steve calls out to you

You finally get the trailer and your face drops as you see a swarm of demo bats in front of your boyfriends trailer. You slowly start to realise what they were swarming around, and with tears in your eyes you run over to Eddie.
"Baby...oh my god baby!!" You say as tears roll down your cheeks
"Bad huh?" He sniffs blood coming out of his mouth
"No honey...baby you're going to be fine!!" You say frantically "we just gotta get you to a hospital...okay?"
"Okay.." he sniffs again
The rest of the gang stand looking at the two of you. You gently run a finger over his wounds, tears streaming down your face.
He sniffles and chokes on his blood a little bit, smiling up at you
"I didn't run away this time, right??" He says trying to make you smile one last time before he goes
"No...no...no...no baby...you uh you didn't run.." you sniff stroking the bandanna on his head
"You're going to have to look after Dustin for me, okay?" He says a tear running down his cheek
"No baby you're going to be here to do that yourself...we just gotta get you to a hospital so they can stitch you up..." you nod
"Nah babe...say you're going to look after him.." he says looking up at you tucking a bit of hair behind your ear gently
You start to sob
"Say it baby.." he whispers
"I'm...I'm gonna..." you start to say but broken sobs cut you off
"Good girl.." he smiles at you
You smile back at him
"I'm actually going to graduate.." he chuckles weakly
You chuckle too, knowing he was slowly slipping away from you
"I think it's my year chicken...i think it's finally my year.." he sniffs struggling a little bit to breathe
You smile nodding
"I love you bub.." he sniffles again
You look away from him for a second, sniffing back tears but it didn't work
"I love you too Munson..." you sob
You feel him slowly start to relax and his choking stops, your heart breaks into a million pieces
"Baby...baby come on...we've gotta graduate...we gotta get that house you promised me..." you say shaking him, trying to wake him up
Your broken sobs, now turning into hyperventilation. You feel a hand on your shoulder, you look up to see Steve.
"Come on y/n/n...it's time to go...he's gone.." he says quietly
"No he's still here...he's not gone..." you sob shaking him again more rough this time but nothing happened
Steve picks you up off the ground and holds you close as you sobbed into him, gripping the back of his jacket. He just sighed and rubbed your back
"Come on..."
"Hold on..." you sniff kissing your boyfriend one last time
You make your way back through the door and take one last look at your boyfriend's body on the ground, before turning on your heels and going back through the gate.
