An: so sorry its been a hot minute. I had a packed July full of vacations and plans. I just started school also so excited🫠. Ill try to update as soon as possible but idk i have two AP classes this year.

*beep beep beep*

Wtf is that noise!!!! I roll over and pick up my phone to check the time... "SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!!" I exclaim while also falling off my bed. I send Hailee a text saying I woke up late and I'll be there in 10. I throw some clothes on real quick and get ready. Then I run downstairs cook an eggo real quick then head out to pickup Hailee. One of my favorite songs come on so ofc I sing along. 

5 minutes later

I pull up and I see Hailee waiting outside. Gosh she is drop dead gorgeous without even trying!!!! "Hey babe" she says then leans over and kisses me real quick. 

You may be wondering 'babe???' You too are already at that point. Yes we are. We have gone on I would say 6 dates since that night and we spend almost all our time together. Flo complains about how yucky we are all the time but deep down shes our #1 shipper. 

"Hey sorry I was late I woke up late." I tell her then head out to the restaurant. YES THATS RIGHT! Hailee is my GIRLFRIEND! And we are going on a DATE. Ik I can't believe it either. "Y/n will you pls just tell me where we are going???" Hailee whines for the 10th time. "No it's a surprise! You picked the place last time so now it's my turn. And I'm paying." "Ug you're so annoying." She huffs. I can't help but laugh at her. I mean shes pouting it's adorable. "We'll be there soon Haizy." The rest of the way is silent but it's a comfortable silence. When we get there we get seated near the back in a booth per my request. I wanted Hailee to be comfortable on this date without worrying about what others are thinking. "Hi my name is Jacob and I will be your waiter for tonight. What would you like to drink?" Jacob asks. He asks but I realize he's staring at Hailee. Great just the waiter I was hoping to get. "Two Dr. Peppers please." I rush out. He looks at me with a hard stare and a tight lipped smile then walks away. "So y/n what are you getting?" "I think I'm going to go for the 8oz steak. What about you?" "I don't know yet. I'm leaning towards a cheeseburger." She says with a laugh. "So Tom has another football game coming up and our friends are going to it so they were wondering if wanted to join them?" I ask her. "Yea totally! I love watching Tom play!" "Great I'll let them know." "Isn't it weird how he is good at practically everything??" She brings up. "Whoa! You're right!!!" I exclaim a little loud. I turn red from embarrassment because a lot of people looked at me. Hailee just starts laughing. We hold hands under the table and continue talking. "Here are your drinks ladies." The waiter Jacob comes back. "Are you ready to order?" "Yes I will have the 8oz steak medium rare please." He nods then turns to Hailee, "And for you pretty lady?" This dude is testing my nerves right now!! " I will have the Cheeseburger with everything on it pls." She responds acting like nothing just happened!! What is going on! Is she totally oblivious to his stare and crappy flirting. Y/n chill she's YOUR girlfriend he doesn't know. He's being harmless right now. Just meep your calm ok? Don't ruin date night.

The waiter comes back later with our food and he didn't do anymore flirting so everything was going fine. For now... we eat and make light conversation. The waiter comes back with our check and Hailee goes to reach for it, but I lightly smack her hand away. "My date plans I pay." I scold her. Im looking over the check. And guess what I see. A FREAKING PHONE NUMBER!!! Stay calm y/n stay calm don't let your frustration show on the outside. Don't ruin the date dont ruin the date do— my train of thought is broken by Hailee, "Y/n? What's wrong?" "Wrong? What nothings wrong everything is peachy!" I say. Shit she didn't by it. Gosh Y/n why WHY are you such a shitty liar when it comes to her????!! I mean not that I want to lie to her but like things like this ug nvm. "Y/N your veins are popping out and I can practically see the steam coming out of your ears." She deadpans. "Shit." I mumble but ofc she hear it. "What whats shit???" "Its stupid really ok lets just forget about it?" I say hoping she drops it. The waiter comes back and stay and looks at Hailee expectantly while I sit there sulking like a little kid. "Did you need something?" Hailee asks him. "Uh um did you not see the receipt?" "No I didn't my girlfriend bought dinner." She states. I can't tell if she was being serious or genuine. "Oh girlfriend..." he says then looks at me and apologized. We leave the restaurant and head back to her place.

Once back we go to her room and I flop down onto her bed. "You know you're hot when you're jealous." Hailee says out of the blue. "Jealous? Me? Noooo I wasn't jea—ok maybe i was but, can you blame me??? I mean look at you you're a goddess and of course boys are going to flirt with you I knew that... it's just I get insecure and even though we haven't been together long I have no idea what I would do with out you. A piece of me would always be missing." I say and look down. She walks over to me and lifts up my chin, " hey its ok to be insecure I just need you to tell me when you fell it so I can help you. Now why don't we go to bed hm?" She says and lays me down backwards and climbs on top of me. "You're so gorgeous it actually hurts you know that?" I tell her. "And you are a nerd." She says with a laugh. "Im your nerd though." I say then I kiss her. It starts out slow but soon it becomes heated and we are making out. She moves down to my neck and finds my spot. "H-H-hail-l-l-ee. Y-yo-your p-parents." I half moan half stutter out. "Yea I guess you're right. Some other time. Then she just cuddles closer and falls asleep. Fuck how am I supposed to sleep now???

AN: so it took me two seperate days a few weeks apart to write this. So sorry if its crappy! Schools started back up so in adjusting to that. I've also gotten caught up in some stranger things fanfics which delayed it a little im so sorry!! But here it is!! 🫶🫶

ALSO HOW ARE MY FELLOW SWIFTIES READING THIS FEELING ABOUT 1989 TV?!!!! THE COVER IS AWESOME!! SHE SAID ITS HER FAVORITE!! Im a little sad that out of the 150 vault songs shes only releasing 5 😔 BUT THEYLL BE AWESOME Im really excited for vault track 3 idk why I just have this feeling.
