Star gazing.
Johnny's POV:
I laid in the grass, right besides Ponyboy, we were star gazing, it was maybe around 9pm.
We stared up at the stars, all of a sudden, I saw a shooting star, I quickly pointed at it, "Hey, Ponyboy! Look! It's a shooting star!" He quickly looked to where I was pointing, the star was already gone though, "Dang it! I missed it" I chuckled "It's alright, Pony," "Maybe tomorrow we'll come back" he said and smiled "Yeah" i said and and smiled back at him.
After a while, Ponyboy sat up, I sat up too, "I gotta go back soon, I'll go in a few mins" Ponyboy said, "Oh, alright" I said.
Ponyboy's POV:
Johnny looked back at the stars, if I'm being honest, I liked Jonny for a few months, I'm scared though. What if the gang found out? And never talk to me again? What if they don't accept me? What would Johnny think? I closed my eyes for a few seconds, and opened them again, I sighed, "Are you alright, Pony?" Johnny asked "Yeah, I'm fine, johnnycake's" he nodded, and looked back at the stars again, I admired his face, I smiled and looked back up at the stars, Johnny looked at me, well it felt like it, so I looked over, and he was staring at me, "Pony?" he asked "Yeah?" I said, "Can I tell ya something?" I nodded "Yeah sure, you can tell me whatever" he smiled at me, "Thanks," "No problem" I said, "So what's it you wanna tell me?" "Well.. Pony, I liked you for a while now, I was wondering if you.. liked me back?"
Johnny's POV:
I couldn't believe I said that, why would I say that? What if he doesn't like me back?? "I like you too, Johnny, I've liked you for a few months now" he said, "Really??" I asked, shocked, I couldn't believe he liked me back, I smiled at him, he smiled back, he then grabs me and pulls me closer, and hugs me, I hugged him back.
