Chapter 10

About a minute later.

-Should I snap them out of it for you? Asked Diablo.
-Good idea, I want to go back to Tempest as soon as possible. Said Rimuru.
Diablo snapped his fingers and they snapped out of it.
-You dare space out in the presence of the great Rimuru, remember that it is a great honor for you weaklings to be in his presence. Said Diablo sternly.
-I'm so sorry! Half shouted Marx in a panicked tone.
Rimuru put a hand on Diablo's shoulder.
-Do you remember why we are here? Asked Rimuru.
-Yes, Rimuru-sama. Said Diablo.
-Good now ask them, will you. Said Rimuru.
-Yes, Julius I request a mission for tomorrow. Said Diablo.
-Yes, how about a mission to search through a dungeon? Asked Julius.
-That seems good enough. Said Diablo.
-Is it alright of if there are a few other people there too? Asked Julius.
-It's fine. Said Rimuru before Diablo could say anything.
-Thank you for being so understanding. Said Julius in a relieved tone.
In Julius mind.
-That's good, I already gave that mission to both the black bulls and the Golden dawn. Said Julius.
-No problem. Said a voice he recognized as Rimuru.
-How are you in my mind?! Shouted Julius who was really panicked.
-It is really easy, for me but don't think too much about it. Said Rimuru.
-So did you want to say anything? Asked Julius, trying to sound calm but failing miserably.
-I just wanted to see what you were thinking about and show you that I was reading your mind, I guess. Said Rimuru.
-Oh alright. Said Julius still failing to sound calm.
-Anyway I'll leave now, bye. Said Rimuru happily.
-Bye. Said Julius.
He then teleported back to Tempest with Diablo following him.

In Tempest. Everyone had been waiting for Rimuru to come back again ever since he left. They where all really happy when they saw him appear in the middle of the city. They immediately informed all the gods since they where his closest and most trusted subordinates. They wanted Rimuru to feel welcome in Tempest since they respected him so much.
-How has your adventure been so far? Asked one of the civilians.
-It has been nice, I'll probably continue doing this for a while. Answered Rimuru happily.
-That's great! Said another civilian.
-I heard there is a "lost soul" in that world. Said yet another civilian.

Explanation:
A lost soul is a soul who's powers weren't completely removed from their past live because of a malfunction, tho the powers are still severely weakened, they can still get the powers of the world they are in. They also need to be from another territory then the one they are in to be classified as a lost soul.
Sometimes they can even get back some memories from their old lives.
Lost soul's are really rare since there has only ever been one malfunction and even then only a handful of souls managed to escape to another territory, and half of those souls had already been returned to their territory.

-Don't worry Rimuru-sama with mere rumors. Scolded the first one.
-A lost soul, where? Asked Rimuru sounding surprised.
-There have been rumors that there is one in one of Shuna's worlds, but it might just be a rumor. Said the second Civilian.
-Diablo can you get that checked out for me? Asked Rimuru.
-Yes. Said Diablo and started using search magic too look for lost souls in that world.
-There is one lost soul in that world. Said Diablo.
-Oh, let's find them and bring them back to their world's, then. Said Rimuru.
-Yes, Rimuru-sama. Said Diablo.
Then there was a slight gust of wind and Souei appeared.
-Welcome home, Rimuru-sama. Said Souei as he bowed.
-Thank you, Souei, how have you been doing? Asked Rimuru happily.
-I have been very well, how about you? Asked Souei.
-I have been good too, I'm going to go look for a lost soul in Diablo's territory when I get back. Said Rimuru.
-Oh, right they get pretty hard to track down. Said Souei.
-Yes, we normally send a small army to find them once we find which world they are in. Said Diablo.
-Yes that does sound way more efficient than going there yourself and searching for them on your own but doesn't that scare all the creatures in those worlds. Asked Rimuru.
-Yes but since it's you I won't need to send anyone else. Said Diablo proudly.
-Yeah I guess, let's search for them and have some fun. Said Rimuru and smiled even more than before.
-Rimuru-sama. Said a voice from behind Rimuru.
-Hello, Shuna. Said Rimuru as he turned to face Shuna.
-I heard you were talking about lost souls. Said Shuna.
-Yes, do you have any in your territory? Asked Rimuru.
-Yes, but I'd feel bad to worry my people by sending an army of any size simply to bring back a lost soul to its home, could you come and find it and bring it back to its territory when your done with Diablo's? Asked Shuna.
-Yes, no problem I'll try to get there as soon as possible. Said Rimuru.
-Thank you, and take as long as you need.
Said Shuna and smiled.
-Welcome, Rimuru-sama. Said a happy voice from beside Rimuru.
-Hi, Benimaru. Said Rimuru, as he looked over at him.
-Rimuru-sama! Shouted yet  another voice from right behind Rimuru.
He noticed that someone jumped onto his back and was now hugging him tightly from behind.
-Hello, Shion. Said Rimuru as he turned into and out of his slime from to escape the hug.
-How have you guys been? Asked Rimuru.
-I have been well. Said Benimaru.
-So have I! Shouted Shion happily.
-Me too. Said a voice from behind Benimaru.
Rimuru looked there and saw Gobta who was walking next to Ranga. Who was wagging his tail violently while panting happily.
-Hello Gobta, hello Ranga. Greeted Rimuru happily.
-Hello, Master. Said Ranga.
-I heard that you and Shion got permission from Diablo to come to the world I'm visiting, Ranga. Have you been there yet? Asked Rimuru.
-Yes, I looked around the place but I couldn't find you. Said Shion.
-Same here. Said Ranga.
-Oh, I am currently in a squad called the Black bulls in the Clover kingdom. Said Rimuru.
-Oh, I'll make sure to find you soon, then. Thanks for the help! Said Ranga, his tail wagging even more violently then before.
Shion nodded profusely and smiled.
-What have you been doing with the mortals for so long? Asked Benimaru curiously.
-I won't tell you. Said Rimuru with a teasing smile.
-Oh, really? Should I go ask Diablo for permission to come there too? Asked Benimaru with a mischievous smile.
-Don't create to much chaos. Said Rimuru still smiling.
-We'll see. Said Benimaru with a smirk.
-Tell me what your planning. Said Rimuru.
-No. Said Benimaru.
-Please? Said Rimuru.
-Nope. Answered Benimaru.
-Come on please. Begged Rimuru.
-Fine. Said Benimaru looking defeated.
-Yes! Exclaimed Rimuru victoriously.
-Diablo can you give him permission to visit that specific planet for me? Asked Rimuru.
-Of course. Said Diablo.
-Okay so... Said Benimaru and then whispered the rest in Rimuru's ear so that only he knew what was said.
Rimuru's eyes sparkled.
-That sounds fun. Said Rimuru.
They talked and had fun until morning when Rimuru and Diablo left.
