Chapter 9

Later at Rimuru's room.
-So, Diablo where have you been living for these last few years? Asked Rimuru as he sat down on his bed.
-I was living in one of the rooms in the castle. Answered Diablo and teleported a cup of coffee to his hand.
-Oh, the wizard kings caste? Asked Rimuru.
-Yes. Said Diablo, giving Rimuru's the coffee.
-Will he let you continue living there even after you scared and threatened him. Continued Rimuru as he took the coffee.
-Yes I'm sure he will. Said Diablo confidently.
-How are you so sure? Asked  Rimuru, taking a sip of coffee.
-He is way to weak to go against me and the demons I gave him are quite powerful for mortals like him. Said Diablo.
-I guess you are right, demons are superior to humans by a lot and Demons are loyal to their masters and we are the masters of demons. Said Rimuru.
-Of course my minions are loyal to you, otherwise they wouldn't have survived this long. Said Diablo proudly.
-Anyone who isn't ready to give up their life for you isn't worthy of being alive. Said Diablo menacingly.
-You need to learn to control your temper. Said  Rimuru, taking another sip of coffee
-You can't just lose it when someone insults me in any way, I mean going around killing everyone who looks at me wrong is way to excessive. Said Rimuru.
-Bu-. Started Diablo before getting cut of by Rimuru.
-It would probably be good if you could simply ignore the disrespect some people will undoubtably give me. Said Rimuru.
-But, Rimuru-sama you deserve respect. Protested Diablo.
-Don't get me wrong, when you aren't thinking about my pride you are really helpful. Said Rimuru.
-You react way to strongly when talking about me and I'm worried that it might get us in trouble now that we aren't known as gods. Said Rimuru in a concerned tone as he placed his coffee on a table next to him.
-There is no need to worry, Rimuru-sama the people of this world are weak, I would win easily even if everything on this planet fought against me at the same time. Said Diablo proudly.
-I guess that's right, but try not to do that and try to keep a low profile too, alright? Said Rimuru, looking Diablo directly in the eyes.
-Yes, Rimuru-sama. Said Diablo and bowed.
-Good, also I heard a rumor in Tempest that you allowed Shion and Ranga to come to this world, is that true. Asked Rimuru happily.
-Yes, I did since their territory's are so close to mine I made a deal with them to let them come see you if they voted for you to come here to my world. Said Diablo.
-That's nice of you, when do you think we will meet them? Asked Rimuru.
-I think we will se them soon,
Rimuru-sama. Answered Diablo.
-Well let's see if Julius can find us a fun mission for tomorrow and then we'll go back to Tempest. Said Rimuru and stood up.
-Yes! Said Diablo happily as they both teleported to Julius office.

In Julius office Marx was scolding Julius for trying to run away again when Rimuru and Diablo appeared.

-Hello, what brings you here so soon? Asked Julius as he started trembling again.
He was scared of Diablo, especially when Rimuru was there since he got insulted so easily on Rimuru's behalf.
Julius knew that Rimuru was even stronger than Diablo and that if he made Rimuru even a little annoyed Diablo would kill him without a second thought. He also knew that the only thing keeping Diablo from killing him right then and there and giving this kingdom to Rimuru as a gift was Rimuru himself. He was very thankful for Rimuru not just letting Diablo kill him. Since Rimuru didn't seem to have any reason not to he would gain a lot by doing so he could cover it up and become the new wizard king, but Rimuru seemed really nice person.

Julius had spaced out.
When Marx saw Diablo appear he tried to hide behind Julius earning a glare from Diablo. He then just stood still beside Julius, to scared to move.
-What happened to them? Asked Rimuru in a slightly concerned tone, looking at Julius and Marx.
They where both trembling and not moving.
-I don't know. Said Diablo, confused.
-Should we wait until they snap out of it or what? Asked Rimuru, sounding equally confused.
