"Athena, are you ready?" Dante asks walking into my room. "Yup" I say getting off my bed. I walk up to Dante and he hands me gloves. "Put these on" he says.

I put them on and we walk downstairs. "Well hello there beautiful" I hear a familiar voice say. I look around to see Mark smiling at me. "Mark!" I yell, happy to see a familiar face.
"Come on. We are gonna be late" Dante says grabbing my hand. We walk outside and get in the car.
When they get to the ball
Dante gets out first and runs around the car. He opens my door and helps me out of the car. "Such a gentleman" I say giggling quietly. He looks at me with a fake offended face.
"I'm always a gentleman" he says, closing the car door. "Sure you are" I say as we start walking towards the building. When we walk in a guy immediately walks up to us.
"Hello Dante! Oh, who might this be?" The person says. "None of your business, Marco" Dante responds. "Oh come on dear brother, scared I'm gonna steal your little slut?" Marco says, informing me that they are brothers.
"She's not a slut, she's my girlfriend. Plus you don't have a chance with her. She's out of your league" Dante says with a straight face. "Vattene prima che ti spari" Dante says, but I don't understand. (Translation- Walk away before I shoot you)
"Whatever, she's not even that pretty anyway" Marco says, walking away.
"Don't listen to him. He's just jealous" Dante tells me, turning to face me. We start walking to the bar but get stopped by a familiar guy. "Athena, what are you doing here?!" I recognise the voice immediately.
I get closer to Dante. "Hi Eris... I'm Dante's-" I start saying but I get cut off. "She's my girlfriend. Who are you?" Dante says, sounding a bit angry and confused.
"Woah, he's a bit overprotective isn't he?" Eris says laughing. When he notices we aren't laughing he stops. "I'm her ex" he tells Dante looks at me then looks back at Eris.
"Well, good to know I never had any competition" Dante says, smirking. Eris looks at Dante with an annoyed look. "You wanna fucking fight?!" Eris asks, obviously angry.
"Sure. My place, tomorrow, 11am, don't be late" Dante says and gives Eris the address. "I'll be there" Eris says, walking away. Once he's gone I turn to Dante.
"What the fuck was that?!" I say trying to keep my voice down. "He was eye-fucking you. I couldn't just let him eye-fuck my girlfriend" he says.
"I'm not actually your girlfriend and you know that! Plus I can deal with my own problems!" I whisper. "So you admit he was a problem to you" Dante says smiling because he knows he won.
"Just don't kill him tomorrow, please" I say as I walk to the bar. "No promises" he says following behind me. I roll my eyes but don't say anything back.
"Hello beautiful, what can I get you?" the bartender asks me. Suddenly, I feel hot breathe on my neck. I immediately know it's Dante. "Whiskey. For both of us" Dante says.
The bartender looks at me to see if that's what I want so I nod. When the bartender walks away to get our drinks I tilt my head back to look at Dante.
"I can order my own fucking drink! I told you this last time!" I say really angry. "I know you can, but he called my girlfriend beautiful and I didn't like it" he says with no emotion on his face.
"Stop being so jealous and protective! I'm not actually your girlfriend!" I whisper, getting really angry. He ignores what I said.
"Tu me traites comme un putain d'enfant et j'en ai marre!" I mumble to myself. (Translation- You treat me like a fucking child and I'm fucking sick of it!)
Dante walks around talking to people with Athena by his side the whole time
