Chapas pov
Warnings: BloodWe finish a mission and we head back to the man's nest. My hands ache and burn from the amount of electricity I've been using lately. Swellview has been on a crime spree lately and we can't keep up. Like all the criminals we put in the hands of the police just can't contain them. We usually just resort to vaporizing them in the end.
We pass through the door and Schwoz greets us with a cart of bandages and water we put together for after missions. I take off my gloves and wrap my burnt hands and get some water. I hiss in pain when I see them all torn up and bloody.
"Training in five guys!" Ray calls
"What!?" Mika yells, "Are you kidding me!?"
"We can't train right now!" Miles adds on.
"And why's that?"
"We just got back from twelve missions!"
"And? There are more out there to tackle. Be grateful I'm giving you a break from the public's eye."
"Look at Chapa's hands!" Bose says. I make jazz hands and peel off the already soaked bandages. "She did most of the work, she can't do any more!"
"Okay Chapa, you can sit out for the next few ones, but you still have to come."
"And why's that?" I ask.
Captain Man sighs and walks out of the room.
(Later)
We are out of another mission, my hands are bandaged up and I run behind everyone, shielding myself from attack. We have to fight this dude named _____ who's down at Swellview prison. I guess he's the one letting out all the criminals from prison, giving us a harder job. No wonder there has been so much crime.
We make it there and I can't believe my eyes.
"Well well well, what do we have here, Chapa?" Says Eddie.
"E-Eddie... what are you doing here?!"
"I'm asking you the same thing. I see that the intensity of your powers finally caught up to you." He looks down at my hands.
I grow angrier with every word. Eddie, out of anyone it could be, it had to be him! I light an electric orb between my hands, ignoring the pain. "Back against the wall bastard."
"Easy there Sparky," Mika says, stepping forward and super screaming him unconscious. "Let's get out of here."
(Back at the man's nest)
"Okay" Mika says, sitting down with a drink, "What the heck was that back there Sparky?"
"Okay, promise you won't get mad."
"Well that's kind of your thing but-"
"Okay, that back there was my ex. We dated a few years ago, right when Danger Force started. He would always be so nice, but I would never be able to see him, and he blamed it on danger force. He was the only one I told him about my identity, I kinda had to. He was stalking me one day and saw me transform. I couldn't control it. Well, while we were at late night training, he broke up with me over text. For some stupid reason I loved him, and it's still kind of hard to get over him. He was never the greatest guy, but I still can't believe he would turn evil."
"Oh wow, I always thought you were single."
"Well I am now, and I don't want to date for a long time. He broke my heart, I break his legs."
"Did you actually?"
"Not yet. Im.. still kind of trying to get over him possibly maybe."
Captain Man peeks in, "Guy come on we gotta go! That dude got out again!"
"This is your chance Sparky!"
"Umm Ray!" I yelled "I'm actually going to sit this one out!"
I grab my gum and transform, sprinting out the door. I run down the mountain. And 20 minutes later I arrive at a blue and white house just outside of the main city. I know this place too well. My eyes start to become watery as I light my hands and 'accidently' light his house on fire.
No one hurts me. No one gets away with it. And NO ONE leaves me with those memories.
Hey guys!
So this is absolute shit but I found this in my drafts and I feel hella guilty for not giving you something sooner. I think this was inspired by "Burn" by Billie EIlish.See ya!
