River turned down the street to the apartment. He dimmed the headlights as he glanced down to see it read 3:00 am. Pulling around to the garage, he opened the door and turned the vehicle off. Tapping his brother's leg, he waited for Ryan to wake up enough to register that they were home. He climbed out of the driver's seat and closed the door softly before opening the back door. "Quinn..........we're here." He said softly and smoothed her red hair back from her face.

Quinn groaned softly.

"Come on, sleepyhead. Let's get you inside and you can go back to sleep."

Ryan headed inside the apartment and cleaned a path through the living room, turning the living room light on so they could see. A few minutes later, he heard footsteps on the steps and looked to see a bundled up Quinn followed by River step inside the bedroom.

"Here. Sleep here. River, get some sleep." Ryan watched as River shuffled over to drop on the bed, immediately rolling up into the blankets. He shook his head and helped take off his brother's shoes, dropping them onto the floor beside the bed.

Quinn had curled up on the other side of the bed and Ryan arranged the blankets around her. "Sleep. You're okay now."

Wyatt glanced out the window into the garage and saw that the twins' vehicle was parked in their spot. Turning the coffee pot on, he picked up his phone and texted the brothers to let them know coffee was on if they were up. A few minutes later he heard a door open and looked over to see Ryan.

"Morning."

"Coffee is almost done."

"Thanks." Ryan made a beeline towards the cabinet for a mug.

"How's she doing?"

"Still sleeping. It was a long drive. River'll probably out of it for a while."

Wyatt nodded. "Did you get her all moved?"

Ryan rubbed his eyes and then nodded. "I almost killed her aunt's boyfriend but yeah."

Wyatt kept quiet as he watched his friend's body language.

"She wasn't safe there. I don't know if....." His fist clenched around the coffee mug as he thought. "....what happened or.....but she's safe now."

"Well, I'm excited to meet her." Wyatt said as he tried to change the tension in the room.

"Yeah....Riv and I talked on the way home. We're going to go look at bigger places this afternoon. Wanna come?"

Wyatt smiled. "You know it."

Soft shuffling on the wood floors sounded behind him and Wyatt turned in his chair to see a blanket covered smaller figure. He chuckled. "I assume that's her."

Ryan turned and saw Quinn enter the room and smiled. "Hey, this is Wyatt."

Red hair and green eyes turned his direction. "Hey."

"Do you want some.....coffee?" Ryan asked, realizing he didn't have much to offer the girl.

"Coke?"

"Um.....I don't think so." Wyatt made an apologetic face. "But I can go to the store if you'll get me a list."

"No....no, that's okay. Water is fine." She moved around the kitchen table and sat at the opposite end of the table away from the man.

"Your stuff is still in the car. We'll get you unpacked in my room and I'll stay with River. We're going to go look at a bigger place later today."
