"Why the hell didn't you tell me you were gonna do that?!" Seonghwa asks in a raised voice. The slight rasp in his tone indicated he was indeed pissed.

Hongjoong scowls back at him, a look of annoyance forms on his expression as if appalled at his tone. "Are seriously asking me that?"

Both males were alone in one of the castles many study rooms after having ran out of the deathly quiet ballroom. Hongjoong had announced his engagement and an awkward applause ensued. But before Seonghwa could even go and chase after his parents Hongjoong pulled him out of the space to talk.

"Yes I'm asking you that. Who the fuck else would I be asking?" Seonghwa's brows were furrowsed due to the inconvenience of the whole situation.

Hongjoong was taken aback by his tone for a split second but then he steps up to Seonghwa's face as of challenging him. "You've got some fucking nerve, y'know that? You show up to my home, attending my brother's wedding and brought your deranged posse of werewolves with you with plans to kill me and the only other 2 family I have left" He had a dark look in his eyes which were clouded over with animosity as he spat out each word.

"I don't have time or room in my heart to give a fuck about you or how comfortable you feel. I saw that your mutts were preparing to make a move so I did what I had to do. My priority back there-" He pointed at door at he spoke. "-was to protect my people. And as I much as I would've loved to rip every single one of you apart limb by limb I did what I knew would be smarter"

Seonghwa just stood stunned at how the shorter male spoke up to him without so much as a waiver in his voice. "So don't ever mistake my agreeing to marry you a promise of compassion because let's be perfectly clear, I don't like you. And I would much rather this might have gone smoothly and I would never have to see you again but alas, we need each other. Now smarten the fuck up and start using your head, wolfboy"

His tirade left Seonghwa a little winded and maybe even a little intimidated. But he'd never admit that out loud. So he simply rolls his eyes, scoffs and turns to look out the window of the small study. It was nightfall and he could hardly make anything out from where he stood. He crosses his arms across his chest and looks back at Hongjoong who was still looking up at him, waiting for him to respond.

"So... what now?" Seonghwa asks with a shrug.

"Now we do damage control. The news will spread like wild fire and the entire country will probably be talking about our engagement before the sun even rises. A lot of people won't be happy about it.." He looks down in thought momentarily. "No... most people will be strongly against the marriage. So I've gotta do what I can to keep things in order over here. You need to go back and ensure everything is straight in Boulia, got it?"

Seonghwa raises a brow at his bossy tone. "Yeah maybe don't talk to me like some little kid"

Hongjoong just chuckles sarcastically. "What part of I don't care about your feelings did you not understand? Go home, wolfboy, and write me with updates every 3 days" His voice was void of emotion as he brushes past Seonghwa and towards the door.
