Deion's POV.
After we were done discussing the game, Marcelo followed me back to the warehouse. Currently I'm sitting in the corner away from everyone else. I got bored of the other 'cards' and their ice breakers that didn't actually make me more comfortable around them. I'm still in an abandoned, funky-ass warehouse with– an old man who'd just convinced me to join his gang, the chick that introduced me to him, and the other dumb ass people the two have convinced to work for them.
I check my phone and right off the bat, I notice I have 20 missed calls from K'von. It pisses me off that he's still trying to get in contact with me after he made such a dumb decision. The decision that led me to my decision.
Just thinking about my situation, I'd clenched my phone so hard I took 5 screenshots. – I sigh and glance at the notifications of the messages V sent me. He's yapping out bullshit I don't want to hear.
"Von, You okay?"
"Von, where you go man."
"We can just leave the city, ryte? I'm sorry bro."
"It really ain't my fault. Just let me explain."
"V, I got your location. U good? Dis place looks like in hood suspension."
I pause.
Don't tell me.
"Tf is tou doindhss", Is the last thing I read.
My eyes shoot open and scan the room. V wouldn't be so stupid, right? He ain't that dumb.
.... Right?
I don't mean to, but my legs move on their own. I'm suddenly standing up and bolting around the warehouse trying to make sure my dumbass of a friend wasn't as dumb as I thought he was.
My knees kept popping every time I bent a corner. I'm too old for this shit.
Those people were giving me weird looks, but I didn't care.
Without notice, a woman with multicolored hair walks into a warehouse with a man's hood in her grasp. My hands go up to my head in disappointment. This couldn't have been worse for me. I know it's K'von. It has to be. I walk over to her.
