𝐑𝐎𝐗𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐄 𝐀𝐖𝐎𝐊𝐄 𝐓𝐎 the sound of fists pounding on Ginny's bedroom door. Grunting and rubbing her eyes, she immediately knew who was disturbing her sleep.

"FUCK OFF, OR I SWEAR I WILL CURSE YOU INTO OBLIVION!"

"So the girl who's been homeschooled all her life thinks she knows something about cursing others now, huh?" says a voice through the wooden door. Roxanne could tell that it was Fred, smirking on the other side.

"Get up, Roxie! Ron is getting bored and we're getting tired of charming all of his underwear fluorescent pink," the drummer of the band, George Weasley snickers.

"Alright, alright. I'm getting up! Just leave Ron alone!"

"I knew you'd only get up to protect Ronniekins," Fred chuckled. "Poor little Wonwon always needing to be saved."

"SHOVE OFF FRED!"

Roxie now detects a different voice through the door, one belonging to her friend Ron Weasley. Ron was perhaps her closest friend she's made over the summer, spending all of her time at the Burrow, on Dumbledore's orders.

"The three of you, quit it. I'll be down in a few minutes," Roxie assured, wanting the stupid commotion to end.

Fred, George, Ron, and Roxie had collectively started a band together that summer. Turns out, there are people out there who love music just as much as she did. They bonded over muggle music– their father, Arthur, is a big fan of the Beatles, passing on that love to his youngest sons. Strawberry Fields Forever became the anthem of early July. The four of them meshed well together, becoming a cohesive unit.

Fred and George picked up their instruments at the age of twelve, both of them being gifted an old muggle drum-kit and a vintage electric guitar. George was drawn to power of percussion, while Fred preferred shredding it out on the guitar.

They weren't initially successful at first. In fact, they were god awful. Percy, their older brother, stomped over to their bedroom to scream at them at least once a day.

Even Ron agreed. One day he decided to sit in on one of their sessions, and that changed everything.

"You both sound like complete rubbish," a squeaky, nine-year-old Ron explained. "You're all just show– you're just hitting and plucking random things."

"And our little brother thinks he knows better than us?"

"Yeah. I do!"

And that's how Ron began playing the bass. At first, it was only to show the twins that he knew better than them, but as it turns out, he loved playing bass just as much as proving them wrong. The bass guitar was pretty much Ron's first girlfriend. He loved the way it added dimension and undertone to Fred and George's loud nonsense. They sounded a lot better.
