In the evening, Chilli and Bandit took the children to the bathroom for a playful shower. Meanwhile, (Y/n) occupied the kitchen, tending to the dishes. On the deck outside, Bandit engaged in a phone call. "Are you certain, Mom? Chilli and I will be leaving in two days," he mentioned. Bandit's mother, Nana, reassured him, "No worries, I'd love to spend time with the girls."
Nana's gaze shifted towards the kitchen window, detecting a blurry figure inside. Her curiosity piqued as she inquired, "Bandit, is someone in the kitchen?" Bandit turned around and spotted (Y/n) tending to the dishes. "Oh, that's (Y/n), the newest member of our family. You'll adore them when you meet them," he introduced. Nana's excitement bubbled, "I'm looking forward to meeting them!"
"See you tomorrow morning, Mom. Good night," Bandit bid farewell before ending the call. Meanwhile, (Y/n) completed their task and mentioned, "Finished with the dishes; I'm going to take a shower." However, just as (Y/n) prepared to move to the next room, Bluey suddenly exclaimed, "Nooooo!" Seeking refuge behind (Y/n), she peered anxiously at Chilli.
Curiosity guiding them, (Y/n) inquired, "What's troubling Bluey?" Chilli approached, explaining, "She's worried that Nana might show them something scary on TV while babysitting." Bandit added, "Ah, Radley mentioned this. Bluey, are you concerned Nana might play something spooky at night?" Bluey nodded in agreement.
(Y/n) offered reassurance, "Don't worry, Bluey. I'll talk to Nana." Although Nana was a stranger to (Y/n), they comforted Bluey. Prompted by (Y/n)'s query, Bingo suddenly appeared and exclaimed, "Nana is Nana!" Laughter resonated as Chilli and Bandit exchanged amused glances."Bingo, did you brush your teeth?" Chilli inquired. With a giggle, Bingo confirmed, "Yes." Chilli then requested, "Show me." Bingo displayed her teeth, revealing her incomplete brushing.
Bandit playfully intervened, "Come here, you!" Playful chaos erupted as Bingo fled, a symphony of laughter and shrieks filling the air.
Meanwhile, in the room, Chilli, (Y/n), and Bluey remained. Chilli explained, "It's Bandit's mom." Bluey chimed in, "(Y/n) is okay with us." Chilli elaborated, "I know it's fine, but Nana wants to see you and Bingo too. Plus, you can hang out with (Y/n) and Nana." Bluey's eyes lit up, "Really?" (Y/n) nodded, "Absolutely." Chilli chuckled, "You've got quite the imaginative game in mind, Bluey."
In sync with the plan, Chilli played along, "Bluey, clean those teeth." Quick on the uptake, Bingo replied, "Yes, Mama," and dashed to the bathroom. (Y/n) couldn't help but question, "Should I be concerned?" Chilli grinned mysteriously, "You'll find out."
The next morning, Chilli, Bandit, and (Y/n) stood near the entryway. Upstairs, Bluey and Bingo exchanged whispers, dissolving into giggles before scampering off. The doorbell chimed, and Bandit greeted, "Mom, good to see you." Warm embraces were exchanged as Chilli and Nana reconnected. Nana then inquired, "Where are the girls and the new...?"
