The clock on the wall was making quite sounds. They were almost, actually impossible to hear cause the yelling was too loud. It wasn't comfortable for anyone in the room. Not for Chadok, who had to scream, and especially not for Akk who was the one getting screamed on.
And that just cause Akk still wasn't done with the list of students who would take part of the school festival. But how could he? Over 10 students were skipping school since months, not even giving a sign of life. Akk tried everything already. But they didn't answer on all the EMAILS or messages he sent.
He even called the best friends of the missing people, asking them if they could ask the friends. But those 10 boys also would ignore their best friends. It all was hard. And defentely, it wasn't Akk's fault. He knew that. But still felt bad for some reason.
Now, the head prefect stood there like a statue, not even daring to move. Every little thing could anger Chadok even more. In the three years he now is on this school, he learned that.
After about 15 minutes of Chadok yelling and complaining about things, he finally stopped. And if Akk was being honest, he didn't even listen to Chadok. He only heard some sentences like
"I don't know why you got the head prefect if you cannot even do this one little job!"
"You could have gone to their houses. You have all addresses. At least try to do your job properly!"
"Why did you only ask their best friends? It's not like that you don't have the numbers. And if that'd be the case, why didn't you come to me and ask me?"
"I am sorry to tell you, but in all my 17 years of being a teacher, you are with difference the worst head prefect I have ever had."
The last sentence hit Akk. It was like 1000 knifes stabbing into his heart. And that all at once. But for some reason, Akk wasn't sad. Normally, Akk would cry cause of the mental pain. He would have felt useless. But now, he just was angry.
Not at Chadok for being a fucking bitch but himself for not standing up for himself.
Akk nodded slowly. "I am sorry, Sir. Give me one more week and I promise I will have all the names. It's still some months until the festival. We indeed have no stress and I will ask Khan and Wat to help me. I swear, I will call the parents and visit the missing people's home." He said in a calm voice, keeping the rage inside.
Until now, Akk was good at hiding things. If you would look at him, he would even seem a little happy. Sadly, this wasn't the case.
As fast as possible, Akk left the office. It was 1:22 p.m right now. Everyone left two minutes ago. Means, he was the only one with Chadok. And of course some cleaning women and the Janitor. But they all were at the other side of the school, that's what Akk knew.
Slowly, the tall buy stumbled around the school. Probably, he never felt so angry before. There was a little string Akk had. And if this string would break, it would be over. And right now, the string did indeed break.
Without even really thinking, Akk yelled angrily, swung his arm and punched one of the lockers which was standing right next to him. Only a few seconds after he did that, he noticed how stupid it was.
Akk looked down to his hand as he felt the warm blood running down his whole arm. "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck..!" He yelled out of frustration. The blood was dripping onto the floor, messing it up with the ugly red drops which looked like paint.
In that moment, Akk just went down to the floor, curling himself up cause of the pain he got. To be honest, Akk just wanted to cry out of pain and anger. Which clearly wasn't a good mix. But just as he accepted the tears, he heard footsteps. "How embarrassing.." He mumbled under his breath.
