7. Bret?

Authors note: I changed the cast so Dylan O'Brien can be Bret. I thought it would be easier to picture him with Holland Roden in this book. I also changed Wendy to Shelley Henig so you can picture that too.

7. Bret?

Well, we were crashing the party, having a good time while other people were mad at us. Jerry and James were laughing and I was running.

I then saw Wendy dancing with someone. She was laughing with him. They looked like they were having a good time, when a lot of people were not.

Then, the guy turned to face us. I felt sick, and Jerry and James stepped in front of me so he would not see me.

"Bret! How could you?" Jerry asked.

"Guys! Please do not tell Tina! I only did the revenge thing to get Wendy to notice me! You two know that!" He said.

Then, I moved Jerry and James out of my way, so I was standing in front of Bret.

"You used me!" I yelled at him. I then turned to Jerry and James. "You guys did not tell me!"

Wendy was laughing. She was looking at me. "What, you expected to have friends?" She asked.

"You should not blame me, I liked her before I met you." Bret said.

"You used me!" I said.

"It is not like I was the first person to!" He said.

"Yeah! Wendy was!" I said.

Wendy was laughing again. "I thought they said you were smart! Isn't it obvious! People like you are going to have a hard time getting friends!"

I walked out of there.

I started to run, but then I ran into someone.

"Are you okay?" Fred asked.

"Did you find out about Bret?" Jason asked.

"I am not okay and yes, I did find out about Bret. Why would you two care?" I asked.

"We want to do the revenge thing on Wendy with you." Jason said.

"Why?" I asked.

"She broke both our hearts." Fred said.

"I want to do it too." Said someone coming from the left. It was Edward.

"Okay." I said. I was hapoy some people were with me. "The abandoned park tomorrow at 8:00." I said to them, then walked off.
