Jasmine walked out of her room to see James on his knee and holding the ring out.

"Will you marry me?" James asked Jasmine.

"Yes!" Jasmine said, then kissed him.

"Yay!" I said, because I was excited and I wanted them to know I was here.

They stopped and looked at me. Jasmine went over to me and gave me a hug. "You will be my Made of Honor."

She then walked over to James, and start to talk to James about getting married. I walked out of the apartment, and to the alley.

It was different when James and Jerry were not there. One was going to marry my sister. The other one was unconscious. I missed Jerry. He made things a lot brighter.

I went to the hospital. I was going to Jerry's room. Someone was already there. Bret was standing beside Jerry, talking.

"I messed up, big time." He said. "I broke up with Wendy, I should have done it a while ago. She was just a distraction from the real one to me. I knew the only reason she would be my girlfriend is if it had something to do with hurting Toni. I used her as a distraction from my parents. I should not have done that. I should have stayed friends with Toni. She said she needed me, I think I need her more."

I walked to Bret and held his hand. I leaned my head against his shoulder.

"I am sorry." He said.

"Me too." I said.

"It is okay." We both said at the same time.

We were quiet for a while. Then I finally said something.

"We have to hope."
