Cato pov

I was going to do it. I tried keeping calm but it didn't work. when Katniss appeared on stage I jumped up and ran over to her. I picked her up and spun her around I was so happy to see her.

"Your okay?" I asked her and she nodded
"I was so worried about you." I say as I kiss the top of her head pulling her into my arms

I had forgot that this was an interview until I heard the crowds awes.

I started to walk back the the couch they had for us.

When I sat down I sat right in the middle of the couch. Katniss is tiny from starving all her life (which I will fix when she moves back with me ) and from starving in the games while being really active. she easily sat in the little section between me and the arm of the chair.

That made me frown. I pulled her little body on my lap and pulled her to my chest where I took in her beautiful foresty sent.

"Ahh Katniss cato I understand this is the first time you have been able to see each other outside the games?" Ceaser asked to start of the interview.

"Yes I was so worried I could hear her in pain and they wouldn't let me see her and look how skinny she is it has to be unhealthy." I said

"Am not cato I'm perfectly fine." Katniss retorted which made me laugh

" Cato when Katniss didn't come out of the ring of fire how were you feeling?"

" I had mixed feelings I was worried I was scarred I was thinking I can't loose her I was trying to decide to go get her or get back in the fire and die with her and I only had a split second to think but I feel I made the right choice it feels so right to have her in my arms." everyone awes and I look down at Katniss the broken girl who I want to fix.

"Thank you." she cried.

"No no don't cry." I panicked I didn't want to make her cry

She obviously could hear and see my panic because she laughed "they are happy tears." and she hugged me.

"Well I guess we can just start the video." uh oh the video i forgot about that I felt Katniss stiffen

"Hey it's going to be alright I'm here."

She put her head in my chest and stayed like that for the whole three hours. I watched when we killed lover boy and when Katniss escaped with rue and when thresh tried to attack Katniss. but when it got to the part where Katniss was still in the fire I looked away I don't ever what to relive that.

" Well I guess  that's all from our new victors Katniss and Cato."

"Wait." I call

Katniss has already stood from my lap and she turned and faced me.

I got on my knee "Katniss everdeen will you marry me I love you and every one Should know that you are mine and I love you so will you marry me."

Katniss pov

Oh my gosh. he loves m that was the most beautiful thing I ever heard. I can love him I decide I can. i start to cry yes I jump around on stage and Cato picks me up and put me on his shoulders right after he kisses me he looks so happy

Every one else looks stunned.

"Wow I didn't see that coming." mr. flickerman says

I don't like his first name so I started calling him this.

"Come on how about we go have dinner together just us I'll let you go get ready baby." cato says I nod and walk to my room I stare at the Dimond cato slipped on my finger it's perfect one big Dimond with other little ones around it. loving cato won't be to bad
