Lol because this is a surfing part and I don't know how to or ever have surfed. This will be an adventure.
Also, if any of my readers know how to surf, you may start laughing as I try to figure it out and put it in a book. :)

Chapter 3:
"Lay down," I ordered Liam as he looked at me like I was crazy.
"What?"
"Lay down. On your board."
He laid down on top of his board after I took the bottom fins off so it wouldn't hurt the board.
"Get comfortable and scoot more towards the top of the board if you will." I said with confidence. "Once you're satisfied that you won't go head over heels in the water, just start swimming, well paddling, and get a feel of it. These waves are not for beginners so do you know how to swim well?"
"Well yes but I don't know how long I'll last. I get tired pretty quickly," Liam stated. I have no idea how he would get tired that quickly, I did see a six pack and a v-line peeking out of his swimsuit.
"Ok. I'm going to teach you how to pop up when a wave comes. First start paddling pretty fast, or faster than you were. Next, put your arms near the top of your head and make sure your elbows are at a ninety degree angle." He wasn't so sure of what that meant so I grabbed his arms and put them near his face. I didn't exactly see, he hid it well, but I thought he was blushing....
After Liam popped up a few times he asked me, "When will we get to go out?"
"Probably not tonight. It's getting dark and I don't want a beginner surfing at night in this bay. The waves get pretty choppy and that's when the sharks come and feed," I said trying to sound scary.
"Ok Miley, but you don't scare me!"
"I'm serious! My neighbors husband almost got his arm chopped off by the biggest tiger shark you would ever see!"
"Oh really?" Liam sounded suspicious.
We were talking about shark attacks and how cool it would be if he would see one. But warned him to stay away from them. They could be very dangerous.
We were totally out of focus when I realized it was already 9:00 pm. "Uh, Liam I have to go! I'm so sorry it's just that my dad wanted me home by 8:30!"
"Um, ok! When's our next lesson?" He asked sounded quite disappointed.
"Tomorrow morning at nine!" I yelled down the beach as I was running home. I saw him wave as I turned around to face my house. He really was cute and I think this was a start to something new...
