RUHANI'S POV
"Bhaiya wo roses entry ki liye hai, don't put them on the staircase"I said to one of those workers, yaar I'm saving them for my mother-in-law's wrath. If she sees imperfection she knows better what she will do.
*Sigh* I'm tired but I can't rest right now, because I have to look after this decoration and catering. This is a very grand party which is going to be held this year. It's my MIL'S words not mine.
I was brought back from my daze when I felt a hand sliding around my waist, I became stiff for a min but relaxed sensing it's none other than my husband. SAMAR SINGH RATHORE.
"What happened? You look stressed, all fine baby?" My husband said, tracing his nose on my neck making me shiver.
Samar was my strength during this whole journey of our 2 years of marriage. He was there standing up for me in front of his mother, his family. His love was the only thing that kept me sane in this house. Sorry, this place was never a house.
Hey lemme give you my intro. I'm Ruhani Samar Singh Rathore, I married him 2 years ago. We had this love marriage which my MIL couldn't tolerate but Samar was always there for me. I'm grateful, we met during our school days so I had this tiny little crush on him then eventually I had him and surprisingly even he had a crush on me Trust me the whole day I was blushing hell. And you don't even need to guess the cupids of our love story. Ofcourse, Pari and Saz. I wanted to be a dancer but my saadu sasu maa can't stand the sight of me dancing, so you can say I had to sacrifice my dreams for my love. Marriage is also about making sacrifices right? So yeah that's me
"RUHANI!" Samar shouted, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Huh? What?" I asked him in return
"I've been calling you for the last 5 mins, kya hua?" Samar is clearly concern for me.
How did I get so lucky?!
I told him that I was looking after the preparation of the party which is going to be held in the evening.
"Don't stress yourself so much, servants will do their work properly" Samar said, making me calm down but I know what will happen if my mother-in-law sees me not doing anything. For now I just nodded my head.
Dadu called Samar to check the list of guests once again. I also invited Pari and Sarah. It’s not like this the first time I’m inviting them to Rathores party, it’s just that I can’t bear being with those caked faces and showing off bitches so to keep myself in company of someone I invited them. Ho na mai smart? *wink*
I once again went through all the preparations again, then finally moved towards my room to get ready. *huff* hectic days.
One hour later
Hush I’m finally ready, and I look so pretty. Yes I’m beautiful and I know that fact, it’s not like I wasn't insecure, I was. But now I have embraced it. It was not easy but as time passed I started accepting it.
I’m wearing this pretty sunshine yellow saree with border embroidery work on it, and to add its beauty I wore an elegant multi solitaire diamond choker.
Samar already went downstairs attending the guests, now don’t say I’m going to be late.
*rolling my eyes*I'll make a special entry *wink*
After thinking so much, I was finally descending the stairs. And not so surprisingly the whole limelight was on me!
I don't know how people die for this limelight but trust me, I hate it from the bottom of my heart. Not like I don't l don't like having the whole attention I use to love it but these people are really a bad influence. Remember our parents use to warn us about bad people out there, these are the people our parents use to warn about. I suggest never let them even have a single glance at you. Bakwaas people *side eye*
I spotted my besties in the corner of the ballroom. (They have a ballroom in there mansion yk rich people *wink*) these cute idiots were waving their hands in the air, for me to notice them which I already did. I chuckled and moved towards them waving back. Brutally ignoring my in-laws who were boring their eyes on my back.
I must say both of them are looking damn hot and pretty!
Sarah wore a hot pink anarkali, and haayyeeee she's killing the look by adding those silver big earrings.
Even Pari wasn't looking less than an actual pari, she was dressed in gorgeous strappy snow like white sharara suit. And guess what, she even wore a classy emerald green neck piece which looked so breathtaking on her slender neck.
Everyone was astonished by their beauties and who won't be.
My besties are my biggest flex *wink*
"Heyy, today some rotten rats smell like lavender today” I mocked them. As much as I praise them I love teasing them as hell, as usual they groan in return.
"Sachi sachi bata, how does Samar even tolerate you?!" Pari asked, masking a fake concern on her face, and listening to her question Sarah also nodded her head in agreement. Make me roll my eyes at her stupid question.
"Mere toh ho gayi shaadi, mujhe jhel ne wala bhi, mujhe mil gaya. Tumhara kya hoga socha hai?" I asked them, raising my one brow, folding my arms crossed.
They both look at each other and then look back at me, I know they have nothing to say. I want them to get married to someone and start their new life but these stupids rejected everyone. *Huff*
"You know I'm waiting for my Prince Charming, but wo itne time le raha ke ab mujhe arrange marriage consider karne ki zarurat padhe ge '' Sarah said with a pout on her face making her look like a cute baby. I chuckled knowing how much she wants her love story to be like how her parents had. That's something which I couldn't experience, arghhh not again let's leave this topic for another day.
I looked at Pari, expecting an answer. She opened her mouth to say something which I knew perfectly, so before she could say anything I said "I Dare you to say you need time, ab itne time chahiye yaar?!" I said, in an annoyed tone, which made her mouth shut. But she again opened her mouth to say something but before she could, a grand music started to play which is a signal that the party is about to start and my brother in law's are going to make a royal entry.
And once again lastly glanced at my best friends and started to move towards Samar who was standing with our family, waiting for ABHIMANYU SINGH RATHORE and ARYAN SINGH RATHORE.
