POV 3rd Person
"Alright, these duels are to prove that Bell and Tanjiro have what it takes to become one of the Hashira, the first bout will be Tanjiro and Sabito, with the second being Bell against Gyomei."
Kagaya announced as they were in a field awaiting for the match to begin, Tanjiro and Sabito faced one another with wooden swords, while some of the Hashira were skeptical of this match-up.
"Master, are you sure? Sabito and Gyomei are the strongest among the Hashira, I don't think Tanjiro or Bell are ready to take them on yet." Kanae commented.
"That isn't the point, Kanae-san. The point of the match isn't about winning or losing, it's to see how we fair against a Hashira and prove to the others that we have the power and skill to stand with the best." Bell explained as Kanae nodded at the explanation and continued looking forward. "Besides, Tanjiro isn't weak by any means."
Kagaya Ubuyashiki then raised his hand and began to speak. "The match ends if both sides are satisfied or someone loses, and once the match is over the audience will share their thoughts, alright. Let the first match... Begin." He announced lowering his hand, as Tanjiro and Sabito dashed at each other, and clashed.
Everyone watched as the two gave no ground, and continued clashing with one another, and much to the Hashiras' surprise, Bell's statement held truth, as Tanjiro was keeping pace. The two decided to take the match seriously and used their respective Breathing Style.
"Hinokami Kagura: Dance!/Water Surface Slash!" They exclaimed, clashing once again as Sabito's water collided with Tanjiro's solar flames. The two backed away from each other and readied themselves for another attack.
Sabito was the first to take action using his Sixth Form, after clashing with Tanjiro. "Whirlpool!" He yelled twisting his body while swinging upward in a circular motion, knocking Tanjiro into the air.
The red-haired boy wouldn't falter though, as he spun himself and made an ariel recovery before using his Hinokami Kagura once again and spiraling himself within the whirlpool. "Beneficent Radiance!" The boy counter-attacked, landing a blow on Sabito, marking the hit counter one-to-one, and knocking the Hashira back.
"Ninth Form: Splashing Water Flow!" Sabito said recovering from Tanjiro's counterattack, before charging in with the Tenth Form. "Constant Flux!" He yelled.
"Hinokami Kagura: Sun Halo Dragon Head Dance!" Tanjiro exclaimed initiating a counterattack, immediately charging in after taking a high stance, and clashing with the Water Pillar, as their strikes flowed and danced, like dragons clashing against each other, with Tanjiro being grounded, and Sabito in the air.
The image was just beautiful, watching as Tanjiro's flames took the form of a dragon, facing Sabito's water dragon. They watch how both fighters were grinning and unmistakably excited about the match. The people watching were the same, as hairs were on end, Sabito and Tanjiro's grin shook their very souls, with the intensity and skill behind each decisive attack. Sabito then flipped back, while Tanjiro charged in, and noticed that the Water Pillar wasn't moving, but smelled an attack coming. Sabito didn't move an inch and remained completely still, causing Giyu's eyes to widen.
"Wait he's not planning on using 'that' is he?" Giyu questioned, gaining everyone's attention, especially Bell, causing his eyes to narrow as he observed Sabito's next move.
"Total Concentration, Water Breathing; Eleventh Form..." Sabito stated while an 'Oh shit!' appeared in Giyu's head.
"Hinokami Kagura: Beneficent Radiance!" Tanjiro exclaimed, trying to attack before Sabito initiated this new Eleventh Form he didn't know about.
