"Maiyaa Yashoda..." The voice sweeter than koel emerged from the door. Yashoda who was making food in the kitchen was instantly delighted at the familiar voice.
Krishna, who was previously playing with Balarama and other cowherd boys, went to the door.
"Raadheee..." He chirped.
She had dressed in her favourite blue clothing. Kadamba, Mandara, Mallika, Utpala, and Aravinda flowers decorated her. Vrishabhanu was always delighted in buying his laadli beautiful jewelry.
"Pranipat." She answered back to Kanha and then turned to the kitchen, "Maiya Yashodaaaa..."
"Come in." Krishna welcomed happily. She gave him an annoyed look but ignored him and waited for Yashoda.
Yashoda chuckled. "Seems like yesterday's fight hasn't been resolved." Rohini chuckled pointing to Yashoda.
Yashoda got up from the cooking and walked to the door. Her eyes fell on Gaurangi and she felt extremely delighted. Her sight felt like the rest within the chaotic thoughts of worry and anxiety.
"You can come inside." Krishna gave her a bright smile.
"Yashoda Maiyaaaa" now she was almost shouting.
"Arreeey... I'm telling you to come in and you're shouting."
"Who are you to allow me inside?"
"I live in this house!!!"
"Who said? You came into this house yesterday, tomorrow you might leave, what is your authority here. Vaikuntha belongs to Mahalakshmi and the griha belongs to the grhini."
"Vaikuntha belongs to Narayana."
"Whatever keeps him afloat over Ksheerasagara." She rolled her eyes and waited for Yashoda.
Yashoda hid by the kitchen entrance watching the argument. Yashoda had never found anyone capable of matching her Kanha with words. Until Radha began talking.
"That would be Sheshnaag." Balarama reported.
"Sure, why not. Snake float in water like lily pads."
"Fine. Vaikuntha belongs to Mahalakshmi. But this house belongs to me."
Radhika raised an eyebrow, "How so? When Vaikuntha itself can belongs to Mahalakshmi then how can you own any place? You didn't build the house, you don't bring any wealth towards its maintanence, nor do you help with the chores. Tell me again how the house belongs to you? Do you clean and maintain it? Nandbaba helps in maintaining the house and you eat here free. I help my Maiyaa with chores and taking care of the house."
"Unfortunately, you won't live there for long. So much for owning a place that you'll leave."
"Shiva lives in Himalayas and Narayana lives in Ksheerasagara. I'm sure I'll manage to have my husband living in Vrindavan."
Krishna was irked.
Yashoda burst out laughing at her confidence. The little girl lit up everywhere she went with vibrance. She picked up Radha in her arms and brought her inside. Radhika held a little utensil in her hands.
"What did my sweet bring?"
Radha giggled, "Your sweet brought you sweet that your sweet made." She opened and lid and showed her the ladoos she made. "Maiyya wanted to make sweets and I helped too. She made kheer and I made ladoos."
"Aahaa, Such a lovely child my Radha is." She praised sat down with Radha on her lap.
Yashoda's friends, the Gopis, came in seeing Radha there. "I have to agree. There is no one equal to Radha. She is such a lovely girl. Always loving and caring towards everyone." One of them said.
