The second semester just started, but (Y/N) has already had enough. She thought that university life would be what the movies and books portrayed, but it was far from that. (Y/N) barely made it through the first part of the year because trying to manage grades, part-time job, and social life turned to be more challenging than she had anticipated. Also, having a best friend like Nobara who had no problems with any of that, made (Y/N)'s failures hurt that much more.

On that day (Y/N) only had two lectures, so at noon, she was back at the dorm room. She was sitting by her desk and studying the syllabus she received the day before and getting frustrated because the hours of the lectures left little to no room for her to squeeze in her job. (Y/N) was filling in her availability for work, and the hours she put in were not satisfactory, but it was still better than having no money at all.

"Are you done with your classes already?"

(Y/N) got startled by Nobara's voice, who just entered the dorm room. She turned around in her chair, nodded, and sighed loudly. "The schedule for this semester is going to kill me."

Nobara put her bag on her bed and sat by her desk next to (Y/N). "Don't even tell me. Today, I have lectures until six. SIX! It's torture."

(Y/N) supported her elbows on the desk and buried her face in her hands. "I have to go to work in a few and I know my boss won't be too happy when I send her my availbility. I wish I had a remote job just like you."

"It's still just an internship."

(Y/N) looked at her best friend and laughed. "Shut up before I kill you. I get it, you're successful."

Twenty minutes passed, and (Y/N) had to gather her things and leave for work. Nobara remained in the room because she had about an hour before her next lecture began.

The coffee shop in which (Y/N) worked wasn't far from campus, so she could at least save on bus rides. Every amount of money she could keep in her pocket was always a win. She really liked working there since the atmosphere was pleasant and the pay was better than she expected.

It was still fairly early; most people were still at work, so there weren't a lot of customers coming in. (Y/N) used this opportunity to clean the local a little. She was alone on this shift, so she tried to use every moment to do something around the place.

(Y/N) was at the back because there was no one inside the store. She was eating lunch when she heard the door open and a few male voices interrupted her break. She put away her food, put on the apron and went to the front - a group of five tall, handsome and well build guys were standing behind the counter and looking at the menu hung on the wall behind her. She immediately recognized their faces - they were playing on the volleyball team at her university, but she didn't really know their names. One guy who was with them, she did not recognize.

"Hello, what can I do for you?" (Y/N) said what she usually said to customers, but that time, she could feel her hands sweat. Maybe it was the fact that there were five guys in front of her and no other soul besides them in the shop.

"Hey! Okay, guys, I'm buying," said a white haired guy as he stepped to the front and took out a wallet from his back pocket. He was the one she didn't recognize.
