"I don't know if I'll be able to control myself if you keep doing that," Satoru looked (Y/N) straight in the eyes and said under his breath.
A few hours before...
On their way to Satoru's place, (Y/N) told her friend that she had already met the guys from the volleyball team. She made sure to clarify that she just saw them at the coffee shop she worked at and mentioned the accident with Satoru. (Y/N) of course didn't dare to mention that she went out of her way, well kind of out of her way, to see the guys at their practice. Satoru. To see Satoru at the practice, she thought.
To say that (Y/N) was nervous to see all of them at once was an understatement. She knew she wouldn't win against Nobara, so she kept telling herself that it was the only reason why she went with her.
After a twenty-minute taxi drive, they were at the apartment complex where Satoru lived. "Wow, it's nice," (Y/N) said and Nobara agreed. The complex was gated, the lawns were neatly trimmed and overall it looked very clean and well-kept. "I wonder how much it costs to live here..."
"He's got a US scholarship, didn't I tell you?"
US scholarship? Was he that good of a player? "No, you didn't."
"He's kind of a big thing, you know. When he was in the States this past semester, he almost got a sponsor but the sponsor wanted him to stay permanently in the US, so Satoru declined. At least that's what Suguru told me."
"I would've never guessed..."
"Come on, let's go."
Standing in front of the door to the apartment was nerve-wracking. Nobara made the first move and knocked. The door opened a few seconds later as if someone was waiting there. They were greeted by Suguru, which was a little odd since it was Satoru's place, and he lead them straight inside. The guys were sitting in the living room and their heads turned their way as soon as the girls entered.
