A sudden and powerful sound echoed across the battle zone, swiftly bringing an end to the chaos. All eyes turned towards the source of the noise, where an impressive figure emerged from the heart of the forest, which was not far from the battle zone.

It was a dragon, but not just any dragon; it was a cosmic dragon! Its wings were light yet unyielding, reminiscent of the swirling red sandstorms that ravaged the desolate desert of serpents. From the top of its solid head to the tip of its blazing flame tail, a shimmering aura of cosmic particles danced like fiery stars in space. The vibrant crimson, purple, and blue flames that engulfed the cosmic dragon were a sight to behold, leaving all onlookers spellbound and incredulous at the wondrous spectacle before them.

"Aether? The Cosmic Dragon? What is it doing here?" said the Demon Queen in a low, shivering voice.

As the dragon let out a deafening roar, some of the Anians and Demons began to retreat, heeding it as a warning. Without hesitation, the dragon drew in a deep breath, its mouth glowing brighter and brighter with energy. Suddenly, it exhaled a torrent of purple flames towards a specific spot in the forest, while the Demon Queen was still reeling in shock. Jace, who had been badly injured by the queen, noticed that her shield was gone. It seemed that she had lost focus and let her guard down, leaving her vulnerable to the dragon's attack.

"Now's our chance, do it!" Jace shouted, even though every inch of his body ached.

The Masters of Magic had performed the ritual, seizing this opportunity to save everyone from her wrath. They summoned a magic circle beneath her.

"What? No!" she exclaimed, surprised. She tried to escape, but it was too late. A few white magic ropes emerged from the circle, grabbing her and pulling her down. She attempted to break free by cutting the ropes, but they multiplied exponentially. She couldn't fight against the power of gravity's pull.

"I'll get... my... revenge..." she choked, as the ropes tightened around her neck. After being completely pulled into the circle, she was teleported to the Death Gate.

Jace gave a relieved sigh, at the same time, he was losing a lot of blood. The Peacock's leader came beside him, as did every warrior.

"He is losing blood! Quick! Get a healer for him," someone exclaimed.

"No, no need for that," Jace replied.

"But the poison could kill him," the concerned person said.

"Please don't! I... I wanted this a long time ago," Jace insisted.

The people gathered around Jace, their hearts heavy with grief. They listened intently, waiting for his final words. As his breaths grew shallower, Jace whispered something under his breath. Though it was hard to make out, the solemnity of the moment was not lost on anyone. They knew that whatever he said was important, but whoever beside him heard it clearly As soon as he did, he breathed his last breath, and slowly his body vanished too.

"Jace Heavensdrop, rest in peace," Kairo said with a grief-stricken face.

In the end, everyone honoured him and established a memorial for those who lost their lives in the war, in Peacock's city, which was located nearby. The sacrifices they made for us will always be remembered, and future generations will never forget them.

"The End!... So, what do you think of this story, kids? Do you guys like it?" told Councilor Kairo who became a councillor after the war.

"We do, Councilor Kairo!" the kids exclaimed.

"I know it's too early to ask, but I'm curious. What are you guys going to become when you grow up?" he questioned them. Each of them replied confidently and adorably.

"I want to be a skilled mage," a random little girl said.

"I want to become a swordsman," a random little boy said.

"Me! An archer!" a little girl shouted.

"Such amazing choices, kids. But remember this, You need to learn magic of any kind or combat skills and master it so that your Hidden Magic (HM) can be revealed. That power will become your last name, like Jace Heavensdrop. So, everyone must work hard and earn their magic in the right way. Understood?" he encouraged them.

"Yes, we do, Councilor Kairo!" they exclaimed adorably.

While everyone answered his question, except one kid, who had big, cute brown eyes, he was sitting behind the other kids. Kairo wished to know his answer.

"Sean?" Kairo asked politely.

"What are you going to become, dear?" Kairo asked, waiting for his answer as he thought deeply.

"I'm going to be a Healer," he said.

"Nice choice. So, who inspired you in this story to become a healer?" Kairo asked him.

"Everyone inspired me in their way, but I think many lives would have been saved if they had enough support on the battleground," he replied, sounding like a top student. Everyone was shocked by his answer, even Kairo.

"You are correct, Sean" Kairo replied.

Councilor Kairo's POV:
-Damn, he's right. We could have saved those lives if we had more support. He listened to the story keenly.

I gotta say, Sean's got this amazing charm that just draws people in. He's so confident and charismatic, that it's hard not to be impressed. No wonder everyone likes him so much - his charm game is on point!

It's heartwarming to hear about the special bond between Sean and Kairo. It's clear that they share a deep connection and that Sean is grateful for all that Kairo has done for him. Losing loved ones in a war is never easy, but it's inspiring to see how they have found strength in each other.
