How you met is when he was in the Gladiator Pits in Kaon. You have been trying to free the bots that had been forced into these pits against their will. Like Megatronous, he was a miner that had attacked his supervisor because he had been holding out on their pay, and Megatronous punished him as he saw fit. The council dare label his acts as crimes.
When you two almost made it out, you were caught by guards. Megatronous was taken back to the pits while you were taken back home and scolded by your older brother, who would later become Ultra Magnus. After that, you two would meet up every time they would let him out, even if it was for a small while. Every time you went to the Gladiator Pits, you would cheer him on, to which he would wave at you every single time he won, which later turned to smirking as he sent you a wink, causing you to become slightly flustered; the start of your love for each other.
Eventually, when you took some of your brother's Shanix, you bailed him out, and he was very thankful for that and would later become a political figure, leading a group of followers who had enough of the old system, believing it was time for a new era. One time, a bot who was against this was sent to take down Megatronous, who later shortened his name to Megatron. But he was stopped by you, killing him in cold blood in front of Megatron. When he saw you look up at him, his spark fluttered in adoration when seeing that bot's Energon splattered on your face.
When the war started, you were a part of the Autobots, and Ultra Magnus was glad that you saw the light and chose right when you informed him that the two of you had a massive fight and he severed all contact with you. That is... if you were telling him the truth. Your brother kept you behind closed doors since then, not letting you go fight because he doesn't want you to get hurt.
Little did he know, that's what you wanted to happen.
Since that you were never sent out to fight, you did your part as the Decepticon spy. That's right. You played your brother like how Franz Böheim plays the flute, as Captain Holt once said in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. No one suspected you, and even if they did, your brother would vouch for you, not knowing that he was wrong this whole time.
When he realized that you were the spy, it was when the Autobots were at their lowest and were about to loose a fight. He was slowly dying in the rubble when he saw you coming his way. He requested you to get him out and get him to a medic, but all you did was look down at him
-That moment-
"C-C/n! Over here!" He called out, his voice sounding hoarse. You came running over to him, and lifted a piece of rubble that was covering the top part of him. "C/n, get... get me out of here. Please. Call a medic." He pleaded. But... you just stood there, glaring down at him with hatred. "C/n?" He called, wondering if you heard him.
You crouched down to his height, looking at him dead in the optics. "Call for help." He begged. All he heard was a chuckle coming out of your intake as you shook your helm, your fist up to your lips. "Oh, how the tables have turned~" You purred. "W-... What?" He questioned, optics widening.
"Tell me this, Magnus. How many times have a bot from the middle and lower class had called you for help? About several, almost too many to count. And how many times have you helped them, whether they were dying, have no place to go, stuck, depressed, and many other things?" You asked. He was about to reply when you interrupted him. "That's right. None! So, I had to take things into my own servos. I travelled across Cybertron several times, whether it was to give them Shanix, Energon, medical help, a home, etcetera, etcetera. One place that I went to several times was the Gladiator Pits, which is, of course, where I met Megatron, as you know." She started, looking at her digits as if she was bored.
"Where are you going with this? ...What are you saying?" He asked, coughing. "I wasn't done with my little story yet. After I was caught, I had spent time with him, becoming friends that would never separate, Ultra Magnus. You know Foxtail, right? The assassin that you and the council hired to kill him, because was being seen as a threat, but was reported missing after never hearing from him again? The Prime council guessed that he joined the Decepticons. Oh, how wrong they were. Rather, he was killed... by me." You stated, putting your servo on your chassis with a smirk.
"Wh-Why? Didn't he betray you?" He asked, genuinely disturbed, hopping that what he was thinking wasn't true. "Oh, right. That. You see, dear brother of mine, is that I have fibbed. That was all made up, because why would suspect that your sister, who was 'hurting' and 'spark broken' by our friendship being destroyed, to be the spy?" You rhetorically asked as you made the illusion of your Autobot sigil change into a Decepticon logo, along with your paint job colors being inverted. His optics widened even further. No, this can't be true! This must be a nightmare.
"But, yes, our friendship did end that day, but not in the way you think. We didn't have a fight, but rather... he had asked me to be his sparkmate, and I agreed, and we had been together ever since." You giggled as you saw his expression turned into utter horror. "And today is our anniversary. My gift to him was the last bit of information to take you Autobot scum down. And his gift to me was..." You added, taking a Driller egg out of your subspace. "He knows how much I've wanted one, and I was so happy that he got this for me. I can't wait for it to hatch." You said before putting it back in your subspace.
"It'll be such a shame that you won't be able to see the day when the last of the Autobots fall. I can just see your name in the files now. 'Leader of Autobots unknowingly caused their downfall'." You laughed. "The look on your face plate is priceless. It almost makes me feel sorry for you. ...Almost." You said. You stood up. "I guess that you could say that being a 'hero' wasn't in my programming. Welp, I better be going. Seeya, wouldn't want to be ya." You said, laughing as you walked away.
-Moment end-
The bad news was that he survived.
It was sad, but a little Decepticon had met you, who you found out was named Shockwave, and asked you train him because he wanted to be what you were, a spy. And so, you did. He was the only other Decepticon that had requested to be a spy. One of the reasons why is because that you noticed that he had the signs that he went through empurata, especially at such a young age, so you decided to give him a chance and he did not disappoint. You had forged him a special T-Cog so then he could transform into a completely different bot, because if he was sent out, they would immediately know because majority of empurata victims joined the Decepticons.
You introduced him to your Driller, who you named Steve. He was immediately fascinated by the creature.
When the Autobots won the war and were sending the Decepticons off planet, you quickly hid Shockwave somewhere, not wanting everything that you've trained him for to go to waste.
The Decepticons have been out here for centuries, with this warship containing you, your sparkmate, your Driller, Megatron's suspicious second in command, a techno-organic that was abandoned on a planet by her Autobot friends, an unstable triple-changer, and a loud but loyal tanker, searching for the Allspark. And finally, after many, many years, it has finally been found.
