Hey guys this is my first story so go easy on me for a while. It has only been briefly edited so their may be some mistakes. Anyway I hope you enjoy the weirdness that's escaping my mind and that's it I guess.
Oh I'll also suggest that you pay close attention to this chapter since its important to the storyline. Enjoy!

A young woman was sitting in a hospital bed surrounded by plain pale green walls. Her long golden blond hair hung in straight locks down her back and framed her beautiful face. It was a little messier than usual due to the events of the day and she didn't have any make-up on, but for once her appearance was not on her mind.
She looked over to the new addition to the ward, the only other patient she would share her small room with until she left. The young woman in the bed across from her was her exact opposite in almost every way. She was rather short, her face pale and delicate compared to her slightly exotic beauty and permanent light golden tan and the woman's hair was a chestnut brown that complimented her hazel eyes.
A complete contrast. However the most heart-breaking and contrasting thing about the woman sitting across from her was not how she looked, but the fact that she was still holding her new born baby, and would continue to hold it for many years to come.
The gentle tears that had been falling from her eyes flowed quicker as she watched the delicate woman before her, cooing to her baby. Gentle tears turned to heart wrenching sobs until her heart and entire body ached.
"Is there anything I can do?" a gentle voice interrupted her sobbing for just a moment.
"I didn't think it would hurt this much" she breathed through her broken sobs.
"you gave your baby away?" the young brunette asked gently placing her new born child in the hospital crib next to her bed, before climbing out and slowly walking forward.
"yes" she wailed as pale gentle arms wrapped around her holding her until the sobs slowed to soft tears.
"Do you regret it?" the brunette whispered.
"No. Maybe I would if it was a stranger though, I gave him to his dad. I'm not ready to be a mum, I'd suck ano I would am too young and not ready, but it just hurts." The blond answered wiping her now wet cheeks with the back of her hand.
"well if you don't regret it and you know that his dad will look him then your probably doin the right thing for your little boy. You just need to cry through the pain for a little bit, sometimes doin the right thing hurts, hun."
"thanks.." she sniffed ".. I'm Jenny" she introduced herself
"nice to meet you Jenny, you wanna hold Alexis?" the brunette answered, tilting her head towards the crib.
"yes please" Jenny whispered, smiling at the thought.
The Brunette walked over and picked up the sleeping baby before gently placing her in Jenny's arms.
"Alexis that's a pretty name. I had a little boy, his dad let me name him before he took him away. I called him Alexander, he looked like an Alexander you know. His dad promised not to change it before he left. Do you think he'll keep it?
"yea I think so, it's a beautiful name. Strong. Hey Alexis and Alexander are kinda close, I guess we have similar tastes."
"yea I guess we do" a gentle smile spread across her face as she gazed down at the sleeping baby.
