BFF Bust-Up (Part 1)

Daniella has settled into our little group really well. It's kind of weird having another girl around, I mean the only girl that can really handle any of the guys for very long is Lexi, Shanna tried for a while when she started seeing Derek but she can't handle us all so she only really sit's with us at break and even then she doesn't really join in much.

We all took a while to get used to a new girl being about, I mean most of us are pretty shy around girls but Lexi is just so lovable, easy going and affectionate that we all gravitate towards her. She's the same with everyone boy or girl so it's easy to be around her. Daniella is different though, she's like a normal girl confusing and complicated. So we found it hard at first, but she's mostly sticks with me, Lexi, Ash and Liam so it's not too bad on the other guys.

Tonight's one of the exceptions where the guys will have to be around more than just Lexi for female company. We're setting up for our monthly movie night at our house and the whole gang is coming over. Something we've all done since we were all in primary school.

Lexi called from the kitchen "Alex did you get the extra popcorn?"

"Yea two extra bag just like you asked it's in the second cupboard..." I shouted back walking through to help her get the snacks ready, I'd already finished in the movie room. "... why do we even need two extra bags, it's always been enough before"

"Well Shanna and Derek have decided to come, since Daniella's gonna be here and their getting on really well, so it's a full house tonight since we know for sure that little Mark is coming with Davie. We've never had a full house and I know you like your popcorn"

"Wow... shit three girls at movie night... Lexi the guys will freak, Davie probs won't be able to talk at all" I breathed. Shit shit shit three girls in the same room I won't be able to talk never mind Davie. 

Lexi just giggled and squeezed my hand "Alex these are girls you hang out with every day at school and one of them is me, you'll be fine... I mean Davie will be fine" *WINK* did she just wink at me? God she knows I'm freaking out she knows me to well.

I followed her through to the movie room with a huge bowl of popcorn, Lexi had the chocolate and sweets overflowing in her arms. The room was already set up with the two luxury cream corner couches pushed together in front of the large flat screen TV with the blankets folded neatly at the edges for when everyone arrived. The movie choices were already spread on the cherry wood shelf in front of the DVD player and the large cherry wood table was set with glasses and large bottles of Cola, Lemonade, Irn-bru and Vimto, just waiting for the popcorn and sweets. It looked like heaven.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Lexi was still putting all the sweets out so I said "I'll get it"

As I rushed to the door and pulled it open to reveal Davie and Mark "come on in guys"

Neither one moved, they both just stood on the front step, it was then that I noticed their appearance. Mark's eyes were red and puffy and his arms were wrapped tightly around himself. Davie just stood there staring at his little brother with a lost look in his eyes.
