FIRST NIGHT DINNER WAS FINALLY OVER. Which meant that Gemma could get ready for the bonfire. Her mother sat in her room watching the girl twirl her hair around.

The girl was wearing a lavender cropped tee shirt and baggy ripped jeans. Her hair was laid out on her back, in light waves.

"Oh Gemma, what if you see that cute boy from the flower shop?" Susannah smiled at her girl, making her squint her eyes at her.

"Mom, I highly doubt I would," She laughed walking over to her bed, where the woman was sat.

"I'm just saying what if, just imagine it, you guys see each other across the beach and walk over to each other, and bam you guys fall in love," She smiled as Gemma shook her head, making the woman open her mouth again. "In slow motion, of course."

"Oh, of course," She laughed loudly falling back on the bed her mom doing so as well.

The two fell into a fit of the most joyous laughter.

"Em, let's go," Jere and Steven said passing the room making the two.

"I love you mom," Gemma smiled as she picked up her phone and lifted herself from the bed. "I'll keep you updated."

"I love you dear," She spoke as she took got up and walked behind her.

The three kids made their way out by the pool where Conrad was dipping his feet in the pool and Belly was swimming. Jeremiah's face completely fell before plastering a smile on before anyone noticed, but Gemma noticed. She always noticed little things.

"Conrad let's go!" Jeremiah spoke making Belly look at them quizzingly.

"Can I come too?" She asked as Conrad got his feet out of the pool.

"No, the mom's are getting everything set up for your movie night," Steven scoffed making Gemma upset for the girl.

"See ya!" A chorus rang out from the boy while Gemma hung back for a second.

"We'll probably still be there by the time the movie ends," Gemma spoke with a shrug, though Belly understood that she was saying stop by later. "Bye bells."

The blonde quickly caught up with the boys making her way into the passenger seatof Jeremiah's red jeep. Her hands immediately went for the radio and popped in a CD their father made them.

The short ride was filled with laughter and soft music. Conrad and Gemma bopped their heads to one of the rock songs as the ride ended.
