"Hey, baby!" Yeji happily spoke as she watched you enter the bedroom.

She was sitting on the bed and before you walked in, she'd been switching from playing a game and talking to Lia.

But now that you're here, you have all of her attention.

Especially since you seem to be upset.

"What's the matter, my baby?" She asked as a frown appeared on her face. "Are you okay?"

"I had a bad day, that's all." You mumbled as you changed out of your work clothes and into one of Yeji's shirts and a pair of sweats.

"Come here, tell me about it." She said as she opened her arms for you.

You crawled into them and, as you always do when she holds you, you felt a sense of safety and security flood over you as she kissed your shoulder and kept you warm.

You started to open up to her about everything that went on today.

How it seemed that from the second you walked out the door and left her side, things began to go wrong.

You spilled your drink all over your shirt on the way in, the other drivers on the road seemed to be driving like maniacs today, how you almost broke your phone when you dropped it on the ground, and how work seemed even more brutal than usual.

"It was just an awful day, Yeji." You sighed heavily. "I thought it wasn't ever going to end. I thought I'd feel better when I got home with you but I'm still so stressed out and so tired. I hope tomorrow isn't this terrible too, I won't be able to handle-"

Before you could finish your sentence, sensing that you were rambling and feeling overwhelmed, Yeji interrupted you and put her lips on yours to give you a soft kiss.

Kissing you mid-sentence isn't something she's ever done before because she worries it might be rude but you seemed to need her to do it today.

And she was right.

Because with her lips on yours, everything began to slip away and you finally felt like you could breathe.

Her lips moved against yours for a few more seconds before she pulled away, but only a tiny bit.

Just enough to let you get a little air into your lungs.

Her lips stayed close to yours though, only inches away.

"That was a nice way to tell me to be quiet."

She laughed and shook her head.

"You were rambling, my love. You seemed overwhelmed. I thought a kiss would help you calm down."

"It did." You said as she stroked your cheek softly. "Thank you."

"You don't need to thank me. I'm your girlfriend, this is what I do." She said with a bright smile. "I'm so sorry that you had such a terrible day, baby. But it's over now, okay? You will feel better as long as you let everything go and just focus on me."

"Okay." You said before pecking her lips softly.

"And you don't have to worry about tomorrow being as bad as today. Because you have me to come home to and if your day is bad again, I'll just give you even more kisses to make it better."

Your heart fluttered as you wrapped your fingers around hers.

You couldn't help but wonder what you'd done in life to deserve Yeji.

She's the most amazing girlfriend in the world and you can't imagine life without her.

"I love you so much."

"I love you more." She said before kissing you again.

And this time, she pulled you a little closer and moved her lips a little more passionately against yours, wanting to give you all the love and kisses she could to make everything better.
