"Good morning," You said as you came up behind Yeji and left a soft kiss against her shoulder while hugging her from behind.

It's a simple act of love that Yeji always appreciates.

So it surprised you when she pulled away from you.

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's fine. I'm just in a hurry. I have plans with the girls."

"Oh." You quietly mumbled and Yeji let out a breath before turning to look at you.

"What is it?" She asked as she folded her arms over her chest.

"Well, it's your day off and I was hoping we'd spend some time together. I mean you see the girls almost every day."

"Yeah, but that's all work-related. We wanted to hang out and have a little fun and escape from our crazy schedules for a bit." She explained.

"I understand that and you know I wouldn't usually say anything about it but at least they get to see you when you work. I feel like I never see you."

She put her bag down in frustration.

"You want me to stay here then? Fine."

"Well, if you're going to be all grumpy about it then no. You should stay here because you want to or because you miss me not because you feel obligated to."

She looked unhappy as you stared at her.

"I don't know why you're so upset at me. I didn't do anything."

"I have plans with the girls, I told you that!" She said as she raised her voice a little. "Gosh, do I have to spend every day off with you and only you? So what if I see the girls every day at work? That's to do with ITZY activities. Sometimes we want to hang out outside of work to spend time together. Why is that such a problem?!"

You were taken aback by her raising her voice and saying those things to you that you didn't know what to say.

"I don't even have to spend the whole day with them. Just a few hours then I'll come to spend time with you. I have a right to spend my time off with my friends too, Y/N!"

Tears stung your eyes as you watched her run her hands across her face and her words sank in.

"I didn't mean anything by it. I just miss you."

She pulled her hands away from her face and stared at you.

"Why are you so mad at me?"

"I'm not." She sighed and came over to you.

"I don't know why you're even thinking like that because you know I don't mind you hanging out with the girls outside of your schedules. All I was saying was that they see you so often even if it's when you're working but I haven't had much time to spend with you and I miss you a lot."

"I know, baby. I'm sorry. I don't know why I said all of that and why I raised my voice at you." She said as the guilt sank in.

"If you don't want to spend time with me, that's fine." You sniffled. "It feels like you don't want me around."

"That's not true at all, baby, I swear."

She wrapped her arms around you and held you tight.

"Are you going to leave me?"

"No. Never in a million years." She promised as she rubbed your back soothingly. "Although I'd understand if you left me after how I spoke to you just now."

You chuckled and pulled away from her.

"I probably should but I love you and I know you've been under a lot of stress and haven't been sleeping much lately."

"Yeah, but that's no excuse. There's no excuse at all for what I said and how I spoke to you. It was so uncalled for and I am so sorry."

You gazed into her eyes and saw how sincere and genuine she looked.

"I forgive you but don't ever raise your voice at me like that again."

"I won't, I promise." She assured as she kissed your hands. "Let me text the girls and tell them I'm not coming today. I'm staying home with you instead."

"Yeji, baby, you don't have to."

"I know. I want to though."

You closed your eyes as her lips brushed softly against your forehead.

"I've missed you and I love you. I should be cherishing this time with you."

"Yeah but if you want to spend it with the girls it's okay with me. I understand that there's a difference between you being with them at work and then during your free time."

She gently caressed your cheek and you happily leaned into her touch.

"It's more than okay. You're not talking me out of this, my love. I'm spending the day with you so get ready for lots of cuddles and kisses as I try to make everything up to you."

She grabbed her phone to text the girls while you cracked a little smile, looking forward to spending the day with her now that everything was okay between you two again.
