"I'm honestly surprised nobody else went after you." A cold, almost condescending voice called out through the cave, almost echoing against its walls. MePhone jolted, looking around to find the source. That voice. That stupid, terrible voice-- he- he knew that voice, he-- he had to get away.

"Especially considering how close they seem to you." Cobs almost sounded amused as he readied the weapon he had brought with him, slinking around a few corners, and rocks.

MePhone got up immediately, disregarding his feelings for later, all of it replaced by immediate fear. This couldn't be real. He had just gone through a 'false alarm' with supposed aliens, and now he really was here. His breath hitched as he heard a nearby pebble get kicked. He didn't waste any more time, running further into the cave. He could hide in here. It was massive, and vast-- and he had to be able to hide. He couldn't let Cobs find him. Not after all this. He kept running further and further into the cave, clamping his hands over his mouth so his heavy breathing would mostly be muffled as he rounded a few corners, immediately ducking behind a large rock, his eyes wide with terror.

Despite having run, the other pair of footsteps didn't. He was still walking. It felt calculated. It felt cold, and scary, and like he knew exactly what he was doing, and that terrified MePhone to his core, because he was sure Cobs in fact knew what he was doing.

He shouldn't have pushed them away and ran. He should've just stayed in the safe walls of the hotel, but now here he was, in a situation he couldn't get out of, completely and utterly alone.

He just had to stay hidden, and stay as composed and quiet as he could, despite definitely really needing to freak out right now. He could freak out later. He didn't have a choice right now. He had to be ready for anything. He had to be on edge. He listened closely for the footsteps, only to notice he couldn't hear them anymore. MePhone prayed his breathing was muffled enough under his hands to not be heard. This was terrifying. He didn't want to go back. He didn't want to possibly die like this. He kept his eyes open, darting around the surrounding cave. He swears he should still be hearing the footsteps. Did Cobs' go the wrong way? There's... There's no way he did... Right?

He almost didn't want to look, but he also needed to know if making a run for it would be possible. Slowly, and quietly, he moved to look over behind the rock he was at--

MePhone's panic kicked in the moment he turned to see Cobs standing there, as if he had been waiting, some sort of weapon in hand. MePhone's breath hitched as he felt frozen in place.

"Come out from behind the rock. Now." He commanded. His expression did not match his serious, cold posture and stance, as he just had a smirk on his face.

"Who knew you'd be this easy to find." He kept the weapon pointed at MePhone, who still sat against the rock, petrified. He couldn't stop the tears that started falling again.

Cobs would only scoff.

"You're pathetic, you know. After everything? Running away? Constantly avoiding my attempts to bring you back home?" He tsked, a frown on his face now, as if he were disappointed.

"Y- you wanted me dead." MePhone didn't know where he found the courage to talk back, but it wasn't like he could do anything else. Cobs didn't like this answer. He fired the weapon, a warning shot, a laser directly next to the robot's head. He flinched.

"I wanted you back home. Sure, it would've been easier if you weren't... Operational, but that's also in the past anyways, so what does it even matter? You're so sensitive, and for what."

"Wh- why couldn't you just leave me alone. I did n-nothing to you." He glared at his creator, terrified, but still so, so angry at what this man had put him through. What he put so many people through.
