A month. It had been a month since Y/n met the giant and the fool. Both clearly fell for the lies of the wizarding world, but he knew better, he always knew better.
His thoughts are cut off by the sound of a man barging into his room
"Well 'ello sleepy head, time for Hogwarts, hope you're packed." Tom the barkeep exclaims
"Yeah, yeah, oi Terror!"
A tiny black and white cat approaches the men and nuzzles up to Y/n
"That's the name you decided on?" Tom laughs as he searches Y/n's luggage
"You know I can do that myself."
"Clearly not, no robes, really? That's the most important part. It's part of the experience."
"Piss off." Y/n chuckles, assuming Tom's joking
"I will, as soon as you pack your robes."
"... Fuck you, Tom."
Y/n grabs his robes and shoves them into his bag, silently whispering profanities
"Now, I would drop you off but I can't leave the bar unattended, it's not a far walk though." Tom cheekily smiles
"Yeah, whatever you say, mate,"
"Oh, and once there wait for Mr. Potter, would you? Dumbledore insisted."
"Just give me the fucking ticket."
Tom sighs and shakes his head before handing him a ticket
Y/n gives his farewells and exits the leaky cauldron and begins his walk to a new shitty world
At King's Cross Station, up on a crossing bridge, Harry, with his cart of his baggage, equipment and Hedwig, walks beside Hagrid. A couple look at Hagrid, suspiciously.
Y/n approaches them
"The fuck you looking at, can't a kid and a giant have a day out, nosey cunts." he says
The couple turn their heads in shock and speed up their pace of walking
"Ello Y/n- Blimey, is that the time? Sorry, you two, I'm gonna have to leave you. Dumbledore will be wanting his, uh... well, he'll be wanting to see me. Now, uh, your train leaves in 10 minutes. Here's your ticket. Stick to it, Harry, that's very important. Stick to your ticket."
Harry inspects his ticket
"Platform 9¾?" But, Hagrid, there must be a mistake. This says Platform 9¾. There's no such thing, is there?" Harry questions
But Hagrid was already gone
"Moves fast for a big bloke, don't he? Let's go ask someone, they gotta be in on it eh? No way they'd have normal workers here if every kid's gonna ask about a made-up platform."
They both walk down a lane between trains. A man rushes by.
"Sorry."
As the two of them turn they see a guard
"Excuse me, excuse me. Excuse me, sir. Can you tell me where I might find Platform 9¾?" Harry walks up to the guard and Y/n reluctantly follows
"9¾? Think you're being funny, do ya?" the guard asks incredulously
"Oi, don't be a cunt, my brother here has mental issues," Y/n says trying to contain his laughter
"Oh, I'm sorry I-I didn't mean to offend." The guard's voice becomes apologetic
Harry then taps Y/n's shoulder showing him a woman, daughter, and four boys walking by, pushing carts.
"It's the same year after year. Always packed with Muggles, of course." The redheaded woman complains
