I made my way around the house, triple checking that everything will be in order while I'm away. That Red will be OK without me, and the other two can manage themselves. If anything out of the ordinary might be a problem.

"You're stressin' too much," Violet says. "We'll be OK! And we'll take everything comin' our way." She smacked her fist into her hand to further prove her confidence.

I paused. "Brown was the only other one who could keep things straight. I have not left the team alone since I had to come back."

She pats my shoulder. "It's OK, we don't need a leader to still be a team. We know how to watch out for ourselves. Now, go see your friend! I know you both need it."

I gave her a small smile but my nerves didn't settle. It's not that I do not trust them. I haven't left anyone alone in 3 years and 29 days. I suppose I'm nervous if something does happen and I'm not around to fix it.

Things do always happen.

However, I brushed the thought off my shoulders and made way into the common room. Then, I suddenly remember. I hadn't asked Blue my favour yet.

I made my way into his room, where he and Red were talking. Red noticed me first.

"Are you leaving leaving now?"

"Not quiet yet, I need to talk with Blue. You should go see Violet, I believe she had a game in mind she wanted to play with you." A lie, but she would gladly play something with her.

Excited, Red jumps up. "Oh, OK!" Sh ran out of his room.

"Am I in trouble?" Blue immediately asks. Even with us earning his trust, he never exactly seemed to get used to being in a safe place.

I hold up my hand to show peace. "No, no. I just need to ask a favour of you." I closed the door to his room and sat down on the ground next to me. "Though, do not tell the other two I am telling you this."

He gives a small nod.

"You are aware of how Red sees things that are not really there, right?"

He gives another nod.

"Well, Violet does not exactly sleep as she should and because of that, also sees and hears things that is not there."

His face turned to concern. "Is that normal or something?"

"No. That is why I need to ask you this. If things start to act up, they might accidentally make each other's visions worse. Can you help keep them straight-headed?"

He looked away and hesitated. "Uh..."

"They just need to be reminded these things aren't actually happening is all."

He had to think about it. "That doesn't seem too hard."

"Thank you, Blue."

He only nodded in response. With that, I stood back up and left his room. I could see Violet and Red playing in the backyard together. They were running around seeming to have a blast.

I opened the backdoor and watched them for a moment. Violet noticed me first, then Red soon after.

"OK, I am actually leaving now."

Red ran up to me and threw herself on me. "Be safe! Be back soon!"

I gave her a light hug back. "I will try. You also be safe."

She jumped off of me.

Violet gave me two thumbs up from where she was standing and a large, goofy smile. "We'll be fine!"
