I leaned my head over Pinkie's shoulder and watched her draw. She's sketching out a pretty lady in pen.
"Can you draw me next?" I ask. Pinkie always has such an amazing skill, I can't help but always ask her.
"I'm a bit busy."
"How about now?" I pushed with a smile.
She hummed. "How about no?"
"Ayy," I laugh. I push myself off of her and posed. "But don't I make a much better model?"
To my side, I can hear a scoff. I turn my head and glare at Orange, who's playing on some Gameboy.
"Have something to say?" I ask, getting him to look up at me. "Oh wait, you can't." I snicker as he hardens his stare into a glare. Orange always likes to start shit with me. Making fun of the fact he can't talk is just about the only upperhand I have against him, I have to use it every chance I get.
I turn my attention back to Pinkie drawing, but soon after Orange places his foot against me and shoves me off the couch. I spring back up to my feet and turn to him.
"Ay! What's that about?!"
He sticks his tongue out at me, then returns his attention to his Gameboy. I leap over to him and scoop it out from his hands.
"Hah!"
I take a large step away from him, holding the Gameboy high above my head, only to trip on the coffee table behind me. Before I could pick myself up, Orange was already above me, wrestling to get his game back.
"Why are you two fighting again?" Green asks, suddenly appearing by our sides.
"Orange laughed at me!" I fib.
"So you... stole his game-thing?" He continued, trying to make sense of this.
"After he pushed me off the couch!"
"Cuz you made fun of him being mute again," Pinkie told on me.
I let out an exaggerated gasp. "Pinkie! Betrayal..."
With my guard being let down, Orange finally snatched his Gameboy back. He stuck out his tongue at me again before he finally stepped off of me.
I crossed my arms. "Whatever."
A new voice suddenly spoke. "Are you two done flirting?"
Everyone's attention fell onto Black, who's leaning against the doorway with her arms crossed.
I quickly sit up. "Ew, as if," I rebuke.
"Good. You three," she gestures to Pinkie, Orange, and I, "have a new mission."
I have to work with Orange? "Together?" I hesitantly ask.
"Together," Black strictly answers. She holds out a white note card towards me.
"How about me?" Green asks, clearly feeling left out.
Black shrugged with a single arm. "I need you tonight. If you go you might not be here, so no."
I read the card as they continued their conversation. All that's on here is an address.
"What's tonight?" Green asks.
"Your... brother is going to be joining. Hopefully."
He beamed. "Azul?!"
I look up from the card. "Wait, isn't Blue on the Radients? Why is he suddenly joining?"
She glared at me. "Why are you still here?" With that, she turned on her heel and left the room.
I sigh and push myself up to my feet. "I guess let's go then," I mur. I'm not looking forward to a team mission. Orange and I are more likely to fail and get us killed instead of accomplishing anything.
