Four months have passed since the second wizarding war. As a result of death or arrest, families have been separated. Many orphans have been left behind, struggling to survive in a post-war world. The Ministry of Magic is doing its duty to provide aid and assistance to those affected, but it is not enough. The British wizarding world's future is uncertain.
Lyra Lupin-Black, formerly known as Rose Potter, was sorted into Slytherin while her twin, Harry Potter, was sorted into Gryffindor. Lyra was determined to make her own way and prove herself, despite the differences between her and her twin. She was known as the smartest witch because her grades were all O's and she was very powerful. She changed her name to Lyra Lupin-Black, daughter of Padfoot and Mooney, the summer before her fifth year. After the war, Lyra quickly ran to Grimmuald Place to hide with her boyfriend and friends. The Lady of the House of Black, Lupin and Prevell has been successfully claimed by her.
However, soon the Aurors came and they had to flee again. In this case, they are all immersed in the British wizarding world completely. Travelling by Gryffins for days on end they ended up around Virginia where they settled into the old Lupin's family home.
