It took awhile for them to trudge back to jujutsu high. Geto and the others greeted them, shoko helping y/n heal her wounds, while gojo left to hand sukunas fingers to the higher ups.
"does that feel better..?" shoko muttered. Y/n nodded, a small exhausted smile making its way to her face.
"it really does, thank you, shoko"
"hmph, gojo has you all battered up again, he should really learn to be more careful- doesnt he know how much energy it takes to get rid of your wounds?"
"its alright," a small smile made its way to her face while shoko huffed. "its really okay, so dont worry alright?"
"its just, cant he at least put your body in a safe place while you use your technique? Anyway, you shouldnt be paired up with him, since gojo can go alone."
"you have a point... It would be more helpful for me to go along with other people."
Y/n yawned, stretching her sore limbs before nestling into the couch. Her eyes flickered to the tv screen before shoko got comfortable by the foot of the bed. They ended up watching until they had fallen asleep to the sound of their favorite anime.
It wasnt long before y/n stirred as the feeling of wind in her face, before realizing gojo was carrying her in his arms. She squirmed around in a panic, looking around them.
"Satoru-? I- what-?"
There was something small off about his attitude, but he smiled teasingly nonetheless. He looked majestic in the night sky, his sharp blue eyes illuminated by the moonlight as he studied her face. Y/n tilted her head as he sighed.
"stay with me for tonight?"
As children of the three strongest houses, the two of them shared similar backgrounds. Being revered and training endlessly. Although gojo hadn't really minded, actually putting more effort than what was asked of him, y/n struggled immensely with hand to hand combat.
At first, he hated her. How she too was so revered as such a weak person. Gojo couldn't deny that she had a monstrous amount of cursed energy, but what was the point if she couldnt even utilize it properly? But his thoughts would melt away once he would see her use the reverse curse technique with ease. as if she had memorized it all like the back of her hand.
It was as if she could weave with the strands of cursed energy and bend it to her will in a way he couldnt begin to understand, even with six eyes. Thats when their friendship had finally started to blossom.
It wasnt long before they were found always together, and it wasnt long until he started appearing in y/n's bedroom at night. She got used to it eventually, just leaving her door open some nights when she thought he'd visit. This was new though- as shed never been in his room, for a change.
"i, uhm.. Sure? Is something wrong satoru?" gojo shook his head and waved his hand dismissively, as if batting away her concern.
"nope, i just missed you~!"
"you know that if you keep doing this, the third-years will start thinking theres something between us?"
"why cant we just let them?" he mused, eyes looking down to stare at her lips before smiling coyly. "there is something between us anyway, isnt there?"
Y/n remained quiet, a soft blush painted on her cheeks as gojo laughed. He finally reached his window sill. It automatically opened for him and he ducked, careful so that the girl in his arms wouldnt get hit. He dropped her down carefully on a chair, before putting his hands on his waist.
"..can i see your wounds?"
"hm? Oh, theyre okay satoru, dont worry"
"please?"
